It's Christmas time in Jersey!

 

Melissa seems to be getting closer to realizing her dream of becoming a singer. She met with two producers who have worked with Brittany Spears and Beyonce, and sang for them. Joe seemed honestly excited for her, until he realized her singing career could take her out of the house for extended periods of time. He offered to build her a studio so she can still be at home, which was a nice gesture. I just wonder what will happen when/if she actually blows up and has to promote her single/album. She can't do that from the house no matter what he builds.

 

"When you don't dream, you don't live"

 

Kathy continues her search for her restaurant with her husband, Rich. She found a place that she liked, but her husband was hesitant about the numbers. They ended up meeting with Caroline's husband, Albert. He kind of brought Rich back down to earth by describing what life is like while running a restaurant. Albert advised them to go into catering like Kathy wanted to in the first place.

 

"Lauren is obviously suffering from separation anxiety from her brothers. She's in bitch mode"

 

Lauren begins to miss her brothers since they are now settling into their new place. She feels kind of like their roommate, Greg, took her place. She expressed to her brothers that she doesn't feel welcome at their place, and they pacified her by giving her a key to the apartment. Its nice to see siblings that are so close. Everything seemed to be OK, until Caroline and Lauren went over to help them decorate for Christmas. Albie and Chris reveal that they had a makeshift dinner party, and Lauren feels left out. Caroline told her she was being ridiculous and that she would have to adjust because this is part of life.

 

Kim G makes an appearance this episode. Every time she comes on the show, I feel like she uses her three seconds of screen time as a ploy to get on the show. She brings a lot of drama, this time forcing Jacqueline to listen to details about Teresa's court case that she clearly doesn't want to hear. Jacqueline had to tell her this several times, basically screaming at her before she got the point.

Teresa and her husband, Joe were in court because his ex-partner is suing them. It's interesting to see everything that I've read in the tabloids the past year, play out on TV. Teresa ran into Monica Chacone, who apparently has been talking about her and let loose on her in the court house. As if their family needs any more legal issues..

 

It was the first family get together since Teresa, her brother, and his wife, Melissa made up. Everyone got together to celebrate the holidays. Teresa made a comment which I'm sure was a dig at Melissa by telling her that she had fun in the Catskills because she was with people she loved. Given the fact that she went with Jacqueline and Caroline, the people that Joe perceived to be her replacement family while they were feuding, this wasn't a tasteful thing to say. Joe Gorga was dared to put on Lauren's outfit, and to everyone's amusement, he did. Everyone had a great time with Joe and Melissa, and I noticed Teresa staring on with jealousy. She also did not look happy that Melissa invited everyone to her Christmas party. I hope and pray that this family stays together, but it looks like Teresa may ruin it.

 

Next week the housewives attend Melissa's Christmas party, and I can already tell from the previews that there is going to be plenty of drama!
