The Real Housewives of Orange County is almost over for the season! It doesn’t feel like it has been quite a crazy as seasons past, but in a good way! This week’s episode was the second to the last show, and Gretchen in dealing with her issues with Slade. He just isn’t getting much work, and she is pretty much the breadwinner. On top of this, he is expected to be paying the same amount of child support as he was before the recession broke him, and he is gaining tons of bad press for not paying it while they are going through the court to get the amount changed. Gretchen is upset but can’t see moving forward with him until he gets these issues settled.
Vicki and Donn are also having trouble. They are living like roommates, not getting along and although their vow renewal was supposed to make them closer, they hardly see each other and Vicki feels empty and like neither one of them nurtured their relationship.
On a brighter note, Peggy and Micah go to Vegas for his birthday, and invite Tamra and Eddie along as they are getting to know each other better and getting along great. Alexis and Jim are not invited…
Alexis is having her introductory party for her “couture” (and I use that word loosely, does anyone actually KNOW what couture is? It is NOT this…) line of dresses. She meets with Pascal, an OC celeb chef and plans the party. All the Housewives are going including Lynn Curtain, who has had a little more work done. Everything goes smoothly except she manages to of course, get a dig in at Peggy. Then, Tamra receives a text from Vicki, who is in the ER and is having issues. Gretchen immediately assumes that Vicki is being dramatic and using it as an excuse not to attend the party, but Tamra is genuinely concerned. Alexis starts to believe Gretchen, and thinks maybe the timing is a little too convenient for Vicki’s “emergency”.
Next week is the season finale of this season, and all hell breaks loose between Jeanna and Tamra…
