During the blind audition rounds of The Voice, viewers didn't get to see much of Casey Demond, who was picked up by Adam Levine after he heard her rendition of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way". Tonight, they'll get to know her a little bit better as she takes on country singer Jeff Jenkins in the battle round. We spoke to Casey today in an exclusive interview to learn more about her blind audition experience on The Voice and who her favorites are in the competition!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you decide to try out for The Voice?
A. Casey: I had someone tell me that they thought it would be a good idea for me to try out. I went to the New York auditions. My fiancé drove me in the snow and waited in the car. He was so sweet. They liked it and called me back for the blind audition. That was such a positive experience.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We only saw a little bit of your blind audition, where you sang "Born This Way". Can you tell us a little more about it?
A. Casey: "Born This Way" was a good pick for me, in my opinion. Stylistically, I do pop/dance music and the song has a positive message. It's, "Be true to yourself." I love Lady Gaga so I was really happy to do that. I was sad that they didn't play more of it but you can get it on iTunes. Adam told me that he would be interested in hearing me do different styles of music. That is actually what's going on. If you guys tune in tonight, you'll hear that. I'm doing something completely different. I'm in the battle with Jeff Jenkins, who is a country singer. We have completely different styles. They gave us something that would sound good for both of us.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What is Adam like to work with as a coach?
A. Casey: He's awesome. He's really down to earth. He's like hanging out with one of the guys. He had a lot of good advice and melody ideas. I was a little nervous!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Does that battle round make you nervous or excited?
A. Casey: Totally excited to go out there and compete and perform! I want to show what I got and I have a lot of fun on stage, singing my heart out. The nerve-wracking part is that whatever you do is what people are going to see and there are celebrities up there.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Any favorites in the competition?
A. Casey: I'm a fan of so many, it's silly! Even people who aren't on the show anymore, who didn't win their battles like Tyler Robinson - I think he's such a unique person and has such a strong voice that I could hear in jazz or pop music. I'm rooting for so many people but it's hard. I'm a big fan of Frenchie because she is almost an icon in her own way. She's a strong person with a great following and she doesn't take any crap from anyone. You hear that in her voice! It's all about style. I'm a big fan of the person I'm in the battle with - Jeff Jenkins. He's got a really unique voice and he's got a great personality. Honestly, it's hard to say I have favorites because I could name so many people. Tje Austin has a voice that's smooth. Javier Colon, c'mon. He's amazing!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What do you want to say to your fans or fans of The Voice?
A. Casey: To fans of The Voice, go Team Adam! To everybody, stay tuned. I hope they like what they hear. I really love The Voice. I think it's a great experience for musicians and singers that want to get their name out there. For season 2, if you've got that feeling like you should try out, you should totally do it!

The Voice airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
