The Real Housewives of New York City

Jill's back! She met up with Sonja, LuAnn, and Kelly for lunch, and brought back tiny koala clips for all of them. She said that she had a lot of time to get her priorities right, and she wants to stay away from gossip and drama.

This was all well and good...until LuAnn filled her in about Cindy's birthday party in Quogue and Ramona's indignance at there being no pinot grigio. Then Kelly talked about Ramona's "threatening" text, and that she wanted to have lunch with Ramona to hash things out.

They decided she needed preparation, so Sonja pretended to be Ramona, and I gotta say, the impression was DEAD ON! If you didn't see it, go look it up. I promise you'll agree with me.

Next, we got to catch up with Alex in Brooklyn, and they were celebrating Francois' birthday. They got him a piano, and though Alex said he was really excited, he seemed really distracted to me, but that's kinda how kids are. More on Alex's kids later, because...

It's time for Kelly's lunch with Ramona! Sonja came as a buffer, and was trying to prep Kelly for what would happen. Ramona arrived, and the talk actually went rather well! Both sides apologized and toasted, and it seems that things are fine between the two women now. How boring! I hope some new drama occurs, because these two are much better to watch when they're fighting. Just saying.

Although, this show really has no shortage of drama, and we saw that when Sonja invited Cindy over to her house for tea, and to talk about Cindy's betrayal by telling Kelly of Sonja's plan to get her and Ramona together. Sonja told Cindy that she's learned she can't trust her, and then brought up how there was no pinot grigio at her birthday party for Ramona. Because...wait for it..."when Ramona Singer comes to your party, you have pinot grigio. Ramona Singer is a star."

Give me a moment...ROFL!

Okay, I'm back. Really, Sonja? Talking about a "pecking order" among the women, and telling Cindy that nobody would know her if it weren't for Ramona? Ludicrous. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more drama between these two, and maybe between Cindy and Ramona, and I can't wait for it.

Speaking of Ramona, she was having a get together at her house for women who wanted to sell her jewelry line from home. LuAnn attended and didn't expect it to be a Mary Kay party, but wanted to support Ramona anyhow. The two got into a conversation about Cindy's party, and Ramona was still upset that there was no pinot grigio! LuAnn thought she should get over it, and so do I! Oh, I also LOVED the little confessional where LuAnn said that Ramona's jewelry was nice, but it wasn't for her...meanwhile she's wearing this HUGE gold butterfly around her neck! It just looked like a giant mutant that had completely taken over her décolletage. No.

Meanwhile, Cindy met up with Kelly to talk about her visit with Sonja, and they ran into Jill, whom they filled in about it as well. Nobody can quite figure out what's going on with Sonja, but to me, it seems as though she's wearing less clothes this season, so maybe that's uncovering more of the evil? Or maybe she's just learning how to produce more evil in her toaster oven. She had LuAnn and Kelly over to show them how to cook in one, and the food actually came out pretty well. That's about as interesting as that get together got.

At this point, the show got a little hard to follow. What I know is that Jill went to Alex's house to make amends, and Cindy met up with Ramona at the Four Seasons to hash things out. The Jill and Alex conversation went very well - Jill apologized for things she said and did, and Alex expressed how she felt about Jill. They wrote down their feelings on pieces of paper, took them into the backyard and burned them, as a symbol of their new friendship. Maybe this is a turning point for them?

The conversation between Cindy and Ramona did not go so well. Cindy tried to express her feelings, but got steely silence and confusion out of Ramona, who seemed uninterested in having a conversation at all. In the end, Ramona left wondering if she wanted to continue a friendship with Cindy (and you know that it's all because of some damn pinot grigio), and Cindy was left feeling hurt.

It looks like the drama of the show is beginning to shift towards Ramona, and I'm a little excited about that. Next week looks promising - Jill was yelling at Ramona in the preview, so that's always a good thing!

Until next week!
