On the season premier of 16 and Pregnant, we meet twins Jordan and Jessica. Though they've been doing everything together their whole lives, they're now separated by one a huge difference - Jordan is pregnant.

 

Jordan and her boyfriend, Brian, have only been together for a little while - but Jordan has been pregnant for the majority of their relationship.

 

Jordan gets a chance to celebrate her pregnancy at the baby shower her sister throws for her at a friend's house. Tensions rise when Jordan asks her grandmother if Brian can move in. She agrees to let Brian move in despite her concerns over how it will affect Jessica, who feels like he is pushing her out of her sister's life.

 

Jordan is anxious about breaking the news to Jessica, and when she does - Jessica couldn't be less excited about the idea. But with Jordan's due date approaching in 6 weeks, she will have to push the drama to the back burner.

 

Unfortunately, her boyfriend makes this nearly impossible. Brian tells Jordan that he feels like having Jessica in the room during the delivery would make the experience "less special" for him, and that her sister has to realize she's "not going to be the number one person in [Jordan's] life anymore." When Jordan breaks the news to Jessica, it causes a meltdown that pushes the sisters even farther apart.

 

Ultimately, Jordan comes out on top. The baby is coming any second, so it's a good thing that Brian quickly gets over the fact that Jessica will be in the hospital room during the birth! Jordan heads to the hospital to successfully deliver baby Noah.

 

Jordan and Brian finally bring their baby home, and obviously, taking care of a newborn boy proves to be a stressful challenge.

 

The stress of a new baby starts to wear on Jordan. She worries about Noah's health, so she takes him to the doctor for a check up and finds that he has been experiencing discomfort due to severe acid reflux. Luckily, Jordan has the support of her sister, Brian and the rest of her friends and family while Noah is intravenously treated in the hospital.

 

Noah's reflux will make him a more "high-maintenance" baby, but Jordan is ready to take on the challenge despite the fact that she recognizes how much of her life she already has, and will have to, give up for her baby.

 

 

16 and Pregnant airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
