Last night, on Survivor: Redemption Island, Krista arrived at Redemption Island and got to talk to Matt for the first time in the game. His good looks may have won Andrea over but it wasn't working on Krista. She came here to win and promises to give him a run for his money.

 

At Zapatera, Steve confronts Stephanie about writing his name down at tribal council. She has no issue telling him that it's because he's the weakest player, which he can't believe, given his background in the NFL. Fair enough... but it wasn't yesterday, Steve. Over at Ometepe, Phillip starts to lose his mind a bit with the girls on his tribe, feeling that they're here to be in a beauty pageant instead of doing any actual work.

 

At Redemption Island, the duel is on! Matt and Krista have to use grappling hooks to retrieve three bags. In one of the bags is a ball which has to be used to navigate through a table maze. Krista makes three great tosses and takes an early lead. However, she rushes through a tough turn on the table and drops her ball, leaving Matt the opening he needed to win his fourth straight duel. Damn.

 

Witnessing the duel were Julie and Mike from Zapatera and Andrea and Natalie from Ometepe. Andrea was happy until she saw Krista give Matt her luxury item, a bible, before she threw her buff in the fire and walked out. Andrea's unnecessary jealousy factor hits an all time high. How dare someone she knew for three days form a friendship with another blonde in the game?!

 

Just when you think Stephanie's number is up in the game, Sarita's drama queen attitude starts wearing on her alliance. David makes a bold move, approaching Stephanie to make a move to get Sarita out of the game so that she can save herself. If Sarita will give her alliance her loyalty to the end, why would you vote her out for being annoying? Always a bad Survivor move...

 

In the immunity/reward challenge, players launch a ball onto the beach where tribe members are waiting to catch them in a net. It doesn't matter what color ball they catch - if they catch five, they win and the cherry on top is that they'll get a picnic lunch. Grant, using his NFL background, is a serious force to be reckoned with on the beach. Mike rips Grant's shirt while trying to stop him and he still dominates! He's the MVP of this challenge, bringing his team to a win by scoring 4 of their 5 points.

 

The feast looks absolutely amazing - I'd not starving on a beach and I'd eat up those lobster tails like it was my job! Grant spots a clue for the idol, grabs it, and runs off with Rob to read it but they're caught by Phillip, who is NOT happy.

 

At Zapatera, the tribe debates sending Sarita to Redemption Island, despite how loyal she is. Helping seal that deal is Stephanie, who is campaigning hard core all over that beach. It's just going to come down to loyalty vs. competitiveness.

 

At tribal, Stephanie and David go after Sarita hardcore, pointing out her weaknesses and that she seems to not want to be in the game anymore. Their arguments don't outweigh the fact that Sarita won't waver and Stephanie is voted out of the tribe. Looks like David is next...

 

Can Stephanie take out Matt?
