Marci Crozier from The Biggest Loser Season 11

Last week on The Biggest Loser, the contestants were offered a challenge. If they could lose more than 64 pounds as a group, they would all receive immunity. It proved to be a tough week for many of them and they were unable to reach their goal. Marci put up a zero on the scale and decided it was her time to leave, despite the fact that she has led the black team from the very beginning and none of them wanted to see her go. Today, we spoke to Marci in an exclusive interview about her time on the ranch, her relationship with Courtney, and her weight loss journey at home.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You said that you originally came onto The Biggest Loser for Courtney. Did you have any reservations about going on the show?
A. Marci: I was a little nervous... leaving home, leaving work and possibly leaving my husband in a financial bind, leaving my other daughter, Casey, during her first few months of college, but mostly about standing on the scale in my bra and underwear!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Courtney was clearly dead set on working with Bob and Jillian. Did you contemplate taking 4 weeks of immunity?
A. Marci: I questioned Courtney but wanted it to be her ultimate decision because I was riding her coattail. When I questioned her, she said, "Nothing in life comes easy, Mom, and you taught me that." I thought to myself, "Damn, what was I thinking?!" Deep down, I was so proud that she never swayed from what she wanted. Her integrity is strong.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Many people felt Arthur made a mistake when he traded Jen and Jay for Deni and Sarah and that decision came back to haunt him. When he was eliminated, everyone was very emotional. What was the toughest part, for you, about seeing him leave?
A. Marci: The toughest part of seeing him leave was that I felt he NEEDED to be there. I only WANTED to be there and I couldn't do anything about it. I was not in control again! I would miss him...he has a great sense of humor. Also, I was mad because the red team always boasted about work ethic and accountability and they were being hypocritical about that when they sent Arthur home. I lost some respect for the red team that week.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: On last week's episode, you found out that everyone would have immunity if you lost 64 pounds as a group. Did you feel that it was within your reach?
A. Marci: Yes, I did think that was within reach. The "big boys" had a plan to cover my five pounds. I told them I could not lose five. Then, when we won the challenge and got a five pound advantage, I was convinced we could do it.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was it like to work out with Brett and Cara? You said that you ended up enjoying the boxing.
A. Marci: I only enjoyed the boxing because Cara was so sincere. Boxing is literally a pain in my neck!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When you saw your number on the scale this week, you seemed to already accept that you would be the one going home. What made you decide that you should be the one to go?
A. Marci: Needs and wants analysis again. Young girl, Kaylee, struggles, confidence issues... I was good. To be perfectly honest, I also thought it would bring the others together to realize we really were one team, team of life, and others would make decisions on needs and wants.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What has made you the most proud of about Courtney's journey on the ranch?

A. Marci: I've always known who Courtney was on the inside...confident, positive, loving, compassionate, et cetera. It makes me most proud to have others see it. Some things get overlooked when you are fat on the outside. She has so much to share and I am so proud to watch her share it with her friends on the ranch and America.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How is your weight loss going at home? We saw that you were just working on maintaining your weight since you're already at your goal. Do you see yourself as a competitor for the at home prize?
A. Marci: I do not see myself as a competitor for the home prize. History shows that winners are around 50% of weight to win. I would have to be 120, which would be skinny and unhealthy. I plan to be fit and healthy, nothing less. Currently, I am maintaining my weight even while adding muscle. I have triceps!
