The Real Housewives of Miami. Yes,another city.  If you aren’t already exhausted, let me introduce you to the women. It seems like quite a few of them lived her in Miami’s hay-day. Does that mean cocaine drug lords and Crockett and Tubbs? Not sure.

Larsa is married to Scotty Pippin, and has 4 children.  Cristy and Alexia are the proud Cuban girls. Cristy has children and is divorced; Alexia is married and has trouble disciplining her children. She also associates herself with a real life Cuban Barbie doll. Adriana seems like the most foot loose and fancy free, she is an art dealer, and comes off high spirited and fun. Marysol, also Cuban, is a business

woman who dates younger men, and we round the group out with Lea, who truly is a fun lady with famous friends and an affinity to find fun or create it.

In the first episode we get to know the girls and can already see some tension between Cristy and Adriana. Adriana is engaged and her son is the most important person in her life. Marysol has s mom who tells it like it is, and Marysol says she is an energy reader.

The two most annoying parts of this new addition to the Housewives franchise is the same two things that stalled Miami Social on Bravo: the self-centered shallowness that doesn’t come off as glitzy and interesting as Beverly Hills, followed by the annoying

accented dialect that it seems everyone in Miami has.

Lea has all of the girls over to see how they interact with each other and so far, they all seem to be getting along. Larsa and Cristy have been friends for years through their two basketball husbands. Adriana and Lea have been friends since their kids started school together. Over dinner, Adriana admits that she gets cold feet with her fiancé. She tells the story of her ex-husband, who had another life and family in Brazil that she had no idea about.  She feels now traumatized and has trouble trusting men.

Catch an all new Real Housewives of Miami on Tuesday at 10/9 C on Bravo.
