There was no talking Deni out of what she wanted to do this week on The Biggest Loser. When she realized that her black team had very little hope of winning the weigh-in, she decided to throw it so that she would be the one to be sent home instead of her daughter, Sarah. She intentionally gained 8 pounds, putting her below the red line, and resulting in her automatic elimination. Today, we spoke to Deni in an exclusive interview to get her thoughts on Arthur's actions this season, whether or not she has any regrets about this week's weigh-in, and her goal for finale night.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you and Sarah decide to try out for The Biggest Loser?
A. Deni: I've watched the show since season one and been inspired every season. When I found out about the open casting call, I talked Sarah into trying out.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How did you feel about going with the unknown trainers, Brett and Cara, initially?
A. Deni: As soon as we found out about the guaranteed 4 weeks immunity, we knew we wanted to go with the unknowns.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When Arthur brought you over to his team, did you feel like the game was over for you and your daughter?
A. Deni: When Arthur traded us for Jen and Jay, we knew we were in trouble. I knew that if the black team lost the weigh-in, I would be the first to go home because of the alliance that the black team had with one another.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do you have hard feelings towards him?
A. Deni: No. I don't have hard feeling towards Arthur because I had the opportunity to work with both sets of trainers and that was a blessing for me.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You, Marci, and Jesse all gained weight in this week's episode. Was it all just an attempt to save your kids and keep them in the game?
A. Deni: For me it was absolutely to keep Sarah in the game.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Looking back, do you wish that you all competed to win that weigh-in instead?
A. Deni: Yes, looking back on it, I do wish we would have competed to win the weigh-in. After seeing how low the red team's numbers were, I definitely regret that decision. Hindsight is 20/20.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You've lost a lot of weight at home and become more active. What is the biggest difference you can see in yourself from before you went on The Biggest Loser to now?
A. Deni: I have more energy, it's easier for me to exercise, and I can do so many things I couldn't do before.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do you have a goal for finale night and what are you doing to reach it?
A. Deni: My goal is to win the $100,000. To accomplish this, I workout 3-4 hours per day and I eat very healthy and keep my caloric intake to what Dr. H prescribed.
