Madison Garton from The Bachelor 15

This week on The Bachelor, the competition became a little too real for one of the women. Madison came into the mansion ready to spice things up with Brad, showing off her mysterious side by wearing fangs. He was intrigued and had hoped to get to know her better but when she heard Emily's tragic story this week, Madison realized that this was more than just fun and games. Feeling that other women had more on the line and more to give, she decided to walk out of the mansion during the rose ceremony and head home. We caught up with Madison today in a press conference call about her surprising exit from The Bachelor.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You decided to leave the show because you didn't feel that this experience was right for you, which I respect.  Was it really about Emily, though, or were you certain that Brad wasn't going to be your husband?
A. Madison: It was definitely the Emily thing that set it off. Had I met Brad and my world had stopped, I probably would've been in it for much more of the competition. By the nature of the show, I did get closer to Emily and her story bowled me over a little bit.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Are you surprised at how quickly some of the women fell for Brad and think he's going to be their husband without really knowing him?
A. Madison: It blows my mind! Some girls are really in it to win it and you should be falling in love. It was really jaw dropping. I guess you get into the competitive thing because you're taken away from everything else. Girls start strategizing but when you pull yourself back, it's like, "What am I doing? I don't even know this guy!"

Q. What was your best and worst time in the house?
A. Madison: It wasn't on camera but it was the night that it was just the few of us girls when everyone else was out on the date... Emily, Meghan, and a few other girls. That was really, really nice. We just got to enjoy being there. The worst moment was when I was sitting there talking to Ashley on the couch and the whole thing snapped. I started balling. All of a sudden, I was a wreck and I realized it was probably really time for me to go. Everything readjusted in my eyes. I had a shaky feeling and didn't feel right being there.

Q. In your exit interview, you said you might wake up and regret the decision to leave. Do you regret going on the show or leaving the show?
A. Madison: Not at all. I wish it had been a little longer that I was there. That's probably the thing I regret the most. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing about it. I'm very happy with going on the show. It was such an amazing experience and I left when I felt I needed to.

Q. How did the whole vampire thing start?
A. Madison: Very off the cuff... I always had a little vampire thing. I love the mystery and the sexiness of the whole idea. Lo and behold, I happened to run into the leader of the underground vampire world. Many people are mistaken and think I am a member. I'm not. I just happen to know the leader. We became friends and I had a pair of fangs made. I wore them for Halloween and had such a blast, I put them in on numerous occasions afterward.

Q. Brad seemed to really like your fangs. Were you surprised that he liked it?
A. Madison: I get mixed reviews. Some people don't even realize that they're there. Some people do and are afraid to ask. Some people run for the hills. It was definitely a vote of confidence that he could handle that. If he can't swallow the fangs, then he probably isn't the kind of man who can swallow me.

Q. If Brad and Emily don't end up together, will you feel like you left for nothing?
A. Madison: That was the fairy tale ending. It doesn't necessarily have to be that way. That's difficult. I just think I would've felt wrong being there.
