Tyana Alvarado from The Apprentice Season 10

Last week, on The Apprentice, Tyana was fired by Donald Trump for lacking motivation... or so it seemed. In actuality, Tyana had strong ideas to offer but no one on her team seemed to want to listen. We caught up with our RealityWanted member in an exclusive interview to find out what really went down in those board rooms!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to try out for The Apprentice?
A. Tyana: I was the only person that actually did not apply. I was contacted by the head of casting who had seen me a year and a half before. I got an audition through RealityWanted for I Survived A Japanese Game Show. They were working on the finals of The Apprentice and they weren't happy with their total cast and they called me. I would've never applied. I would've never thought I was good enough in that I'm not an Ivy leaguer. I'm nothing like anyone else. I'm sexy, I show cleavage, and that's normally not what they're looking for.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Were you nervous about facing Trump in the boardroom?
A. Tyana: No, I thought it was real! Call me crazy! I had only seen really season 1 and a couple of Celebrity Apprentices. I thought it was a true job interview show. I really did go there to win. I wasn't afraid of Trump.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When did you start disliking the concept for last week's challenge? Why didn't you offer any alternative?
A. Tyana: I actually, from the second that idea came up, tried to steer them in the right direction. My idea was to do a popcorn bikini and, of course, the girls ignored me like they do in every task. They shut me down. In the boardroom, one of the girls said my idea, trying to throw me under the bus, and Trump lit up. He thought it was fantastic. A popcorn bikini would've gone viral. Personally, there was no reason to fire me so they edited it as if I had no ideas.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How difficult was it to work with a group of women?
A. Tyana: Until that task, it wasn't that difficult. It's a game and we're fighting for our lives. I'm not going to blame it on it being women. All of our situations is what made it harder and passionate.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How were you feeling watching this past episode on television?
A. Tyana: I was miserable and afraid to watch. I had this big plan to put a viral video on YouTube and then I accidentally found out a few weeks ago that my whole idea was going to be cut out. I didn't sleep for days after seeing what they did to my edit. Most people saw through it and have been defending me. I have multiple job offers out there.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Speaking of, what are you up to now and how has The Apprentice helped you?
A. Tyana: There are so many opportunities. I'm entertaining all of them. I hope within a few weeks, I can find the one that suits me better. I'm talking to someone in Montreal to be a Sales Manager. I have an interview with a company in Miami today. I talked to another company. There are so many options.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What's the biggest lesson you learned from being on The Apprentice?
A. Tyana: Definitely don't believe everything you see!
