This week's Amazing Race saw the 10 remaining teams leave from Eastnor castle in England and fly to Accra Ghana. Jill and Thomas winners of the first leg of the race as well as the first Express Pass departed the pit stop at 11:55 am. However as is custom with the Race the airport soon becomes the great equalizer. All the teams find them selves booked to fly out on the same flight.

When the teams arrive in Accra it's a mad dash to find a taxi. On their way to the marker teams are bombarded by beggars on the street. Mother daughter team Andie and Jenna are moved to give for good luck while others prefer to focus on the race.

The first team to arrive at the Roadblock are the shopping channel hosts, Brook and Claire. Teams must go through the market and try to sell $10 or 15 cedi worth of sun glasses at a minimum of 3 cedi a pair. The hosts believe they have this one in the bag since this is what they do for a living. Brook the more outspoken of the two is chosen to do this challenge and she is instantly a hit with the men. Turns out if you tell a man from Ghana that he looks like a "Gangsta" or a "Rapper" in a pair of shades he will most likely buy it, well that's the strategy Brooke adopts.

As more of the other teams arrive at the market the hosts finish up and must then find their way to the June 4th area where they are to locate the Peace Motor Spare Parts shop for their next clue. A little history fact on the June 4th area, is that it is the location of the 1979 military coup that took place in Ghana.

As the teams get to the motor shop they are met by a Detour. They must choose to either install a television antenna at a person's home and position it to receive perfect transmission in the challenge "Tune in" or they must roll a heavy coffin through the streets to a showroom some distance away in "Check out"

The teams seam to split down the middle between these two challenges and only Connor and Jonathan of team Glee decide to switch in the middle of "Tune in" to do "Check out" As the teams start to finish up it is now another mad dash to the pit stop for this leg.

The first team to arrive is Brook and Claire, followed by the Volleychicks of Katie and Rachel. The all girl teams this year, are really strong. I think we might actually see one take it this time, but I am definitely jumping the gun on that prediction.

As it's coming down to the end mother/daughter team of Andie and Jenna find them self in a four way taxi race with father/daughter team of Gary and Malory, the doctors Nat and Kat and Team Glee, through a gridlocked traffic jam in Accra. The doctors lucked out in this one choosing a driver that seems to have played Grand Theft Auto too many times, as he creates his own lane in the middle of the street bypassing all the other teams. In the end their more conservative cab driver proved to be Andie and Jenna's downfall as they were the last team to arrive and eliminated from the race.

The Amazing Race airs Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.
