The Real World: New Orleans - Episode 11 Recap

Tonight, on The Real World, the roomies headed out for a boat ride together and bonded after coming together to boot Ryan out of the house. They saw some gators and screams ensued. Back at the house, an idea was hatched to host a wedding for Knight and Jemmye. It was all meant to be innocent fun but heaven forbid Knight actually commit to Jemmye instead of just sleeping with her and talking down to her. He rejected the idea and told Jemmye she's "only good for one thing" which causes Jemmye to physically attack to him. How dysfunctional.

At the shelter, Loretta asked everyone to consider living the life of a homeless person for 24 hours. They'd have to go through the same intake process as everyone else, eat the same food, and sleep outside. Right away, Preston and Ashlee were not down with the idea. In fact, the only one that was on board was McKenzie but soon, everyone came around and decided to do it.

However, when it came time to actually do it, Knight and (surprisingly) Ashlee decide to bail and go running through the streets of New Orleans to party. Loretta's watchful eye caught them and they were scolded for not taking things seriously. Were they just volunteering for the sake of tv? Do they actually care what these people go through?

Sahar has been known to give Knight a hard time about his behavior this season but she is no longer allowed to speak because Elie (aka Pablo), her boyfriend, finally showed his face when he came to visit New Orleans and he is not a person that she should be with.  His friends were most definitely cooler than he was but these boys like to party and don't seem too concerned at all with Sahar's upcoming performance with the band Flow Tribe.

You may remember that her first performance didn't go too well and she forgot the words on stage. This time, not even Pablo's embarrassing, inappropriate, drunk behavior could distract her from what she felt she was meant to do: perform on stage. She nailed it and hopefully, will put more focus on her singing than her dating life. She's only making good decisions when it comes to one of them.
