Britney Haynes from Big Brother Season 12

by Gina Scarpa

It was a series of unfortunate events for Britney this week on Big Brother. She lost the HOH to Hayden, was put on the block against Lane, lost the POV to Hayden, and then found out her best friend in the house has been part of a powerhouse alliance since Day 2. There was no option for Britney - she was headed to the jury house regardless of what she said or did. Today, we caught up with the outspoken Big Brother player in an exclusive interview about her friends, enemies, and whether or not she'd ever play this game again.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to do Big Brother? Were you a fan of the show?
A. Britney: I have been a fan of the show since the first season and have always loved the game. I wanted to apply ever since I was fifteen and took the first opportunity I got.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You buddied up with Monet in the game. Was it tough to lose her as a friend so early on?
A. Britney: Absolutely! Having her in the game was a good escape for me. When she left, I felt alone at times.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You had friends and enemies in the house. Who were the people that you were most loyal to?
A. Britney: Monet, Lane, and Hayden were the three people who I would have never betrayed.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do you have a bigger problem with Rachel or Brendon? Can you be friends with them outside of the game?
A. Britney: I have a bigger problem with Rachel. Brendon was less disgusting when she left the house. I highly doubt that any friendship will be pursued.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You were obviously shocked when you learned about The Brigade this week. Did you have any suspicion that the four guys were working together?
A. Britney: Of course. I knew that they were close. I knew that I would have to rely on myself as well. I guess I just wasn't prepared for how close they were.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: At the elimination ceremony, you seemed to have made peace with the way the game ended for you. What changed for you?
A. Britney: I had to choose to be negative or be positive. I wanted to enjoy this experience for what it was. I was grateful that I had a chance to play.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What do you think life is going to be like at the jury house over the next week?
A. Britney: Horrific. I'm not looking forward to it. I wish they would let me stay in the house and not compete. I will clean for an hourly wage!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You were a strong woman and a strong player. What was your proudest moment?
A. Britney: I think my proudest moment was when I stood up for myself against Brendon when he called me selfish and spoiled. He wasn't prepared for my rebuttal. I'm glad that I said what I did.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Would you ever play this game again?
A. Britney: Having been only a couple of days removed, that is hard to say. You will need to ask me again in a couple of months.
