Last night, on Top Chef: DC, the remaining five chefs battled it out for a spot in the final four. Their final elimination challenge in DC was to create a meal that could be freeze dried and sent into space for the astronauts at the International Space Station to enjoy. Tiffany, who changed her dish late in the game due to frozen mussels, came up short with the judges and left just shy of the final four and a trip to Singapore. Today, she spoke to RealityWanted and reporters in a press conference call about her experiences on the show.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: There were many people who thought Ed might go home on last night's episode. Were you surprised it was you?
A. Tiffany: I learned never to be too surprised and never act like you know exactly like you know what's going on. I was a little uneasy with myself when things weren't quite the way I wanted them. I felt like it was gonna be me. Everyone seemed more confident with the product. I wasn't sure about mine.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: If you had made it to Singapore, do you think you could've won the whole thing?
A. Tiffany: I felt like, "If you take me, I promise I'll do good!" I definitely felt like I could really pull it off. I'm not going to allow myself not to do well if I could just get past this round.

Q. Who were you most excited to meet?
A. Tiffany: I was excited to see Anthony Bourdain. When I saw him I was like, "Oh my gosh, it's Anthony!" I would love to do what he does. I would love to try all that crazy stuff!

Q. Are you going to use some of the cash that you won on the show towards your upcoming wedding?
A. Tiffany: Actually, I plan on putting some towards the wedding. We're going to put some aside for a house and getting things together. One thing I really wanna do is just go somewhere and enjoy it. I'm gonna enjoy it! I'm like, "It is time for a vacation!"

Q. What was the best advice you received from the judges?
A. Tiffany: Honestly, I took something away from everyone because when you're standing up there and they're telling you about the challenge and how to cook, they're giving you hints and you just gotta follow them. I took away something from everybody.

Q. In your dish last night, the mussels were frozen but in retrospect, is there something you could've done?
A. Tiffany: The whole thing was kind of crazy. What I would've done was cleaned the plate up a little more. The rice was not quite sticky enough. The flavors, don't get mistaken... the flavors were good. The mussels would've just added to it. I would've just cleaned it up. It kind of came down to who had the tighter looking plate. Now that I think about it, mine was not as tight as it should've been. It came from not focusing on the end.

Q. Did you know how close it was going to be in that last challenge?
A. Tiffany: No, I had no idea how close it would be. Someone made the comment, "I wish I could take all of you." The whole time, I don't know if it was in my head or because I listened to all the critiques, but I felt like it was me.

Q. Are you inviting any former Top Chefs to the wedding?
A. Tiffany: Yes! I know there will be a few there! We'll see.
