Tonight's episode of Big Brother picked up with a sulking Ragan and a disgruntled Enzo after Lane's nominations. I know the one thing that's running through Enzo's mind is "bros before hoes." Lane's decision to put Enzo up on the block seemed to be the one bright light for Ragan as he realizes that in the alliance of the three other men in the house, that Enzo is the most expendable and thus someone who would easily break away if they were both to survive the vote.

 

Prior to the Veto competition, Ragan is training as if his life depends on it. He is putting his mind through various memory tests and even pumping a little iron while he does it. For the POV competition, it's the usual final five challenge. A large talking character (or in this case, a musical clam) named Otev (Veto spelt backwards) sings a riddle about two former houseguests and the answer is written as a conjoined name on a select few of countless CDs scattered throughout the yard. They all must slide down the slippery hill, find the CD then climb back to the top to present it to Otev. Find the wrong one and you're out or be the last one to get there and you're out.

Lane is hoping the nominations hold true so that Ragan goes home but sadly for him, he's the first one eliminated as he brings back the wrong CD, which was a saving grace for Ragan as he would have be knocked out seeing that he was the last to arrive. After Lane exits, he's followed by Hayden and then Britney.

 

In the final round, it's between both the nominees Ragan and Enzo. After the clam sings the riddle both Ragan and Enzo know exactly where the CD is and as they are released to go, they both fly down the slide and lunge for the CD with Enzo just out reaching Ragan in the end.

 

Enzo is pumped he finally won something.

 

Though Hayden and Brit think they are both 500% safe if Lane chooses them to replace Enzo, both of them secretly don't want to go up on the block. Brittany finds herself in Lane's room trying to get him to nominate Hayden. "I'm taking you to the final two, they won't" is Britney's argument and there could be some truth to that. Even though Lane says that Hayden is his best friend in the house, Enzo is obviously closer to Hayden than Lane is so I think Lane will be the one to get the chop if Hayden had to choose.

 

The last two punishments for Lane opening Pandora's box provided some light moments to tonight's episode. Punishment number 2 forced the final five to use hand puppets while they spoke for the next 12 hours and punishment number 3 forced them to dance every time they heard music. Everyone is pretty bad at this but Hayden is HORRIBLE!!! I felt embarrassed for him.

 

After the dancing, it's back to serious business. After Lane speaks to Hayden about possibly putting him up, he goes to his galpal Britney to talk to her about putting her up as a pawn. Britney tells Lane the truth when he comes to her. She basically tells him that even if Hayden takes him to the final two Hayden will obviously win because he has more friends. It's a hard pill to swallow for Lane but it's a valid point. Both Rachel and Brendon respect Hayden and think Lane was a floater. Kathy liked Hayden a lot too and Matt probably thinks Lane was dead weight in the Brigade, so let's face it, Hayden has more votes. In fact Hayden is the frontrunner right now for votes.

 

At the VETO ceremony Enzo takes himself off the block and who does Lane put in his place?!?!? Shocker... Hayden. This has got to be the smartest move Lane has made all season. Getting Hayden out now seems to be the real target this week for Lane and it's a turn of event that makes Ragan all the more happy.
