Big Brother Season 12

by Gina Scarpa

Andrew may be gone on Big Brother but he left a lasting impression with the remaining houseguests. After he outed Hayden and Kristen's secret relationship, all hell breaks loose in the living room while the voting goes on. Andrew leaves and everyone waits for the HOH competition to begin, questioning who they can trust and if what they just heard was true.

Immediately after winning HOH for the second time, Rachel calls her a "floater" and lets her know that she's definitely targeting her.

That sparks a huge argument between Brendon and Rachel and Hayden and Kristen. The others, from Lane to Ragan, love every minute - and why wouldn't they? As long as the target isn't on them, they should be doing a happy dance.

The Brigade is not pleased that Hayden has been distracted by Kristen's feminine charm. They make it their priority this week to get her out of there so they can get him refocused. Hayden tries to backpedal by approaching Rachel and trying to apologize for putting her up against Brendon when he was HOH. It seems his apology falls on deaf ears because Rachel is straight up out for revenge.

Rachel then apologizes to Kristen, for saying anything offensive to her in the heat of the moment, but she refuses to accept it. Then, she decides to skip out on seeing Rachel's HOH room. Something tells me this is going to be a neverending fight. Nobody's going to be hugging this one out.

Side note #1: Someone needs to tell Rachel how to be natural when she's doing her interviews. Can she please stop yelling into the camera?

Side note #2: Enzo should win an award for the show that he put on in the HOH room, pretending to be excited about Rachel's Spice Girl CD.

The houseguests are in for a surprise when they receive a video message from Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. The contestants are about to compete in a luxury competition, where some of them will win a sneak preview of Will and Mark's new movie "The Other Guys". Split into teams, the players must stand in a car and run through a crime scene-themed obstacle course.

By far, the worst team is Ragan, Kristen, and Kathy who basically walk through the whole thing. It doesn't help that Kathy is falling every two seconds. It's just hard to believe that she's a policewoman. She has yet to perform well in a physical challenge. Brendon, Hayden, and Enzo fly through the course in 47 seconds and win the movie screening! Because she's HOH, Rachel gets to come along as well. Brendon says that he can't wait to make out with her during the movie. Now... he does know he's not 14 anymore, right?

Kathy approaches Rachel, begging her not to put her up on the block this week. She takes a stand, saying she will not pick sides (which makes her a "floater") but also promises that she's not after Rachel and Brendon and could even be a vote for them in the jury house if she doesn't make it to the end. At the advice of Hayden, Kristen goes to Rachel to form a truce and plays the emotional card.  Rachel buys it hook, line, and sinker and questions whether or not she should even put Kristen up. What is she thinking?! It's what everyone expects her to do. If she doesn't, she'll create more enemies than she already has.

At the nomination ceremony, Rachel ultimately decides to put up Hayden and Kristen against each other.
