Big Brother Season 12

by Gina Scarpa

Tonight, on Big Brother, the first houseguest of the season will be evicted and we'll find out who the saboteur is! Things pick up where we left of last night, with Annie and Rachel on the block. Even though Annie knew that she'd be Brendon's replacement, she's still all riled up and emotional about it. Brendon advises Rachel to lay low while Annie implodes and singlehandedly ruins her own game.

After a heart to heart with Annie, Brendon can't seem to take his mind off of the fact that she's so hurt by everything that's happened in the last day. When he tries to spend a little alone time with Rachel, he brings up Annie and the mood is immediately ruined. That sparks a fight between the two but... you guys have known each other for 8 days... why is there a lovers' quarrel happening? It's a showmance!!

Finally. FINALLY! Julie is going to reveal who the Big Brother Saboteur is. It's... Annie! She shows how she pulled off all of her pranks and acts of sabotage, with the help of suggestions from Big Brother fans. This week, she put devices in everyone's room that beeped and rang non-stop, driving everyone crazy.

The saboteur comes on the television to proudly announce that they've escaped the block this week. Liar! Because the word "escaped" was used, everyone now thinks it's Brendon.

Annie goes on a full-fledged campaign to get Rachel out of the house. She first tells people that no one should keep a known couple in the house, then reveals that Brendon has been lying about his occupation. I'm glad people are campaigning in week 1. Nobody should be satisfied with going home first! You gotta fight!

Chenbot checks in with the contestants. When Enzo was asked how slop was, he compared it to his ex girlfriends. Brendon admits that he's so attracted to Rachel because she's intelligent and funny. Andrew says that the most surprising piece of information he learned from the saboteur was that there's a pair that already knows one another.

Annie makes her speech to stay and damn, she fights hard! She calls Brendon out for being a liar and compares his relationship to Rachel to that of Jeff and Jordan. In fact, her speech is so good that Rachel really has no rebuttal. It seems like she's admitting defeat before the votes are even revealed.

Here are the votes. Monet votes to evict Annie, Andrew votes Annie, Lane votes Annie and once he says her name, it seems the saboteur is out. The Brigade will vote together and that's 6 votes right there to get rid of this season's saboteur. Kathy votes Annie, Kristen (yes, she's on the show) votes Annie, Brendon votes Annie, and that makes it official but in case you were wondering, everyone else voted to boot her ass outta the house, too.

I can't believe the saboteur is gone!  Even more shocking, I can't believe these players kept a known couple together when it's been revealed that there is another pair of people that are connected!

Outside of the house, Annie feels that she tried to play twice the game in half the time. In the goodbye messages, everyone was pretty nice, with the exception of Rachel and Britney.  Rachel is psycho obsessed with Brendon and says that Annie shouldn't have tried to come between her and "her man".  Again, I say... 8 days.

For the next HOH competition, it's a good ol' trivia competition called "Majority Rules".  The players will be asked a series of questions but have to answer how they think the majority will response.  Brendon, Kathy, and Kristen go out first.  Dammit, Brendon!  Enzo, Matt, and Lane are out next and there goes the whole Brigade.  Andrew's out next, followed by Ragan, which leaves Monet, Britney, and Rachel in a tiebreaker.  They're asked how many gallons of caramel were in the sweet tooth competition that they crawled through.  With an answer of 80, Rachel is the closest and is the new HOH.

Things are about to get very interesting!
