"The Company You Keep"

 

On last night's episode of The Hills, Kristin and McKaela competed for Brody's attention. Now that Kristin has feelings for Brody again, she's not giving him up without a fight.

 

Audrina and her friend Stacie go to the salon to get their hair done in preparation for a big night out. Stacie brings up Brody and McKaela. Even though Kristin and Brody's relationship is somewhere between friends and friends with benefits, Kristin still wants to be the girl he cares the most about. McKaela doesn't worry because she knows that Brody doesn't want to be in a relationship, so she would never be his girlfriend.

 

Audrina and Stephanie go out shopping and get excited for Stephanie's birthday celebration. While Ryan is gone on tour, Audrina is glad that she has the opportunity to hang out with her friends more and catch up on girl time. She has been talking to Justin lately (just as friends), but he has been really flirty with her. Stephanie suggests that she keep her distance.

 

Lo and McKaela get a chance to chat at work and Lo asks about her relationship with Brody. McKaela explains that she hasn't seen or talked to him in a while, and Lo thinks that he wants the best of both worlds. McKaela doesn't want to end up looking like a fool. Lo feels that Brody just isn't ready yet for a relationship.

 

That night, at Stephanie's birthday, Kristin doesn't waste any time cuddling up with Brody. And while he has his arm around her, McKaela walks in. Brody gets up to say hi to McKaela then sits right back down and puts his arm back around Kristin. McKaela brings a girl named Allie, who Brody and Kristin can't stand. Apparently, Allie had broken into Brody's house. Brody had a party and Allie came and left her ring there. She got through his security gate afterwards, came into his bedroom while he was sleeping, and demanded to have her ring back.

 

McKaela and Allie sit across from Brody and stare him down. After a few minutes of awkwardness, Allie tries to clear the air and explain that she is there to support her friend, McKaela, and that she doesn't know why Brody and Kristin have such a problem with her. Brody reminds her that she broke into his house but she denies it. Kristin jumps in to say that she was in the bed with Brody, so she would know.

 

McKaela addresses Brody and tells him that she doesn't respect how he has handled himself. She understands if he wants to be single but doesn't like how he has been playing with her feelings. As Brody starts to leave, Kristin rushes up to leave with him.

The next day at work, McKaela calls Brody but he doesn't answer because Kristin is still at his house.

 

McKaela and Allie have lunch together. McKaela felt a little caught off guard last night with the whole Allie/Brody situation. Allie didn't tell her anything about her allegedly breaking into Brody's house. The way Allie tells it makes it sound like Kristin is crazy and told everyone that she broke into Brody's house just to make her look bad. She claims the whole thing never happened. McKaela doesn't want to be an enemy to anyone and decides to invite Kristin to have a talk with her.

 

Ryan is back in town and he and Audrina hang out. She has been thinking a lot about their relationship. She isn't sure that things are going to work with him going on tour, being away with the partying, and all the girls. But Ryan doesn't care about any of that stuff. He is in love and will stay away from all that as long as they are together. Audrina still thinks that they rushed into things. He feels that they still have a great relationship and should just let it be.

 

Lo, Stephanie, and Kristin sit and chat about everything that happened at Stephanie's birthday party. Lo tells Kristin that McKaela wants to talk to her. McKaela still really likes Brody and talking to Kristin would give her some closure.

 

Audrina surprises Justin at his bike shop. They start talking and laughing like old times. She tells him about her relationship and she feels that it has been really draining trying to work on things with Ryan.

 

McKaela and Kristin sit down for their chat. McKaela explains that she didn't know that Allie and Kristin weren't friends. Kristin tries to warn her about Allie. McKaela says that she and Brody aren't talking anymore and tells Kristin that she was hurt when she saw them together. He had told him all of these great things about her and that if he were going to be a relationship with anyone, it would be her. Kristin tells her that he said all of that just to sleep with her but she is a little hesitant to believe it. Kristin also tells her that if she keeps hanging out and bringing Allie around, there will be drama.

 

The Hills airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
