The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Fresh Meat 2

by Gina Scarpa

Last night, on The Challenge: Fresh Meat 2, a fight almost broke out in the house over potatoes. No, I'm serious. Pete decided to make himself a plate of yummy, seasoned potatoes and a drunk Danny grabbed a handful and shoveled it in his mouth. Somehow, Brandon and Sandy got involved and before you know it, Danny pissed the whole room off - he even throws a piece of cheese in Wes's face! A fight practically erupts between Brandon and Danny. Wes got knocked to the front then straddled Brandon two seconds later to stop his alliance from completely imploding. He probably didn't have to straddle the guy but crisis averted. Brandon and Danny later hugged it out... repeatedly.

Theresa Update: She hates Kenny and likes Wes this week.

In the challenge, teams have to swim a short distance, then climb up a steep wall onto a platform and ring a bell. Most teams finish right around one minute or under and most teams finish because the guys literally push and drag their female partners up the wall. Let's just say there was a lot of butt touching.

Apparently, Katelynn has become the joke of the house, for claiming to be a strong athletic competitor with a strong martial arts background and then sucking every challenge. Unable to get up the wall, Brandon just sat there watching her flail around. When she finally got to the top, she went crashing back down and seriously injured her knee. Did everyone stop making fun of her? Nope, they laughed more. Sorry, I shouldn't group everyone together. Jillian was actually concerned.

Kenny and Laurel win again. The Unstoppable Force and The Immovable Object are DOMINATING.

Craft Evelyn has a plan. She wants to convince Kenny that her alliance with throw Ryan into Exile. Being Ryan's friend, Kenny will let him choose who he wants to go against, which will be CJ. In actuality, Ev's alliance is going to toss Jill and Pete instead and screw Kenny over right in front of his face. Phase 1 works... Ryan tells Kenny he wants CJ and Kenny promises to call him out. Phase 2 gets a little messy when a very injured Katelynn returns from the hospital. She can't compete physically anymore so Evelyn and her alliance throw them into Exile instead, basically handing CJ and Sydney the win. CJ still doesn't appreciate being the one thrown under the bus by his alliance and starts to question where he stacks up with Evelyn and Wes.

Brandon and Katelynn decide that they'll just skip Exile but CJ and Sydney ask for them to try to compete a little just so that they can see what the elimination challenge looks like. All parties agree and Brandon spends the night drinking and then continues doing so the next morning. There's just one slight problem. The challenge rules state that no competitor can drink alcohol before a physical challenge so TJ disqualifies them at the starting line and CJ and Sydney are sent back to the house.  Brandon is an idiot.

When they return, CJ and Syd lie to everyone, saying that they got to compete in part of the challenge. I don't know what the point of that is. CJ and Landon meet outside secretly to discuss a plan to go rogue and form their own side alliance to perhaps take on both Wes and Kenny. Now THAT would be interesting to see...
