With four teams left, this season of The Amazing Race is winding down but the intensity is still building. The four couples that survived Singapore include Jet and Cord, Brent and Caite, Dan and Jordan and Louie and Michael. From Singapore to Shanghai, the teams are dispatched for the 9th leg of the race.

Dan and Jordan are the first to learn that they will be heading to China. After their flight, they will taxi their way to Zhujiajao which has been dubbed the Venice of China. Despite their earlier advantage, Dan and Jordan are at the mercy of a horrible cabbie that has not the motivating million dollars to move him along.

Interestingly enough, the teams will find themselves making homemade Chinese noodles for the roadblock. In this event, one member is taught the delicate art form of preparing pasta from scratch. Once again, Jordan struggles through the task as Louie finds himself very much at home; "I grew up making pasta with my grandmother." As always, the cowboys were quick to learn and were well on their way to winning another leg.

This week's detour takes full advantage of Shanghai being the fashion capital of the world as teams head to downtown's Fashion House. Here they are to choose a designer's sketch and to imitate the stylish outfit on an actual model. Teams have to work their way through racks and tables and piles of skirts, shoes, glasses and scarves and much more in the hopes of getting their model to match the sketch.

Cord warned the audience, "Don't be deceived; Jet is on the cutting edge of fashion!" And although the cowboys jest, they are no joke. The two were in and out of the Fashion House just as quickly as they entered. Following close were models Brent and Caite and in third came Louie and Michael. But instead of heading to a pit stop, the teams learned that this week featured a second roadblock!

For this roadblock, however, the member that DID NOT participate in the past challenge HAD to be the one to face this literally puzzling challenge. Jet was the first to learn that he would have to assemble a 96 piece puzzle on the ground at Hong Kou Stadium for a section of fans to hold up; on the back side of the completed and picturesque puzzle is a clue for the pit stop's location.

Jet battled the windy conditions that severely thwarted Brent's efforts to finish his puzzle without maximum frustration and scrambled through the stadium for his pit stop clue. Dan was fast enough to pull his team out of last place and Michael found him lost and staring at the unfinished Chinese art.

First to arrive at Shanghai Science and Technology Museum were the cowboys who have now won four legs! Second place was taken by Brent and Caite and third went to Dan and Jordan. Staving off elimination were Louie and Michael who will have to face a speed bump next week.
