Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains

Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains started again this week with Russell talking about how in control of the game he is. "If you ain't with me, you're against me," he continued to repeat. Soon, his head is going to get so big it won't fit on the screen! I think, this week, I got a little too much Russell.

At Camp Villain, they are all praying for the merge. They know they are in a bad place after getting rid of their strongest players. Could the merge save them!? You never know. When Camp Villain received their clue, they decided they wanted the merge so bad that they would pack up everything and bring it to the challenge just in case... yet another stupid move on their part.

Trainer's Tip #8 - Don't waste energy for nothing. Case in point, let's re-build our shelter for the 12th time! Fantastic idea.

At Camp Hero, JT went on the search for the idol. This goes against what the camp had agreed upon, that they would all search for it together. After being caught with the idol in hand, JT decided to share that he had found it with the whole tribe. Candice and Amanda both agreed that they don't trust him anymore. If Amanda wouldn't have walked up, there is no way he would have shared it with everyone, which could end up hurting him in the end.

The looks on everyone's faces to when they saw Boston Rob was gone was priceless. They think that it's an all girl alliance, which would make sense just looking at numbers. Maybe Russell thought that if he goes into the merge with all women and acts like the victim, they will keep him around longer?

It's interesting. On my season, Russell kept all the men but Natalie and this season he is keeping all the women... I am trying to figure this out right now. He does make his moves based on control. This season the women must be easier to control.

Best line this episode, "Drop... you... expectations. We are not merging!"

Bowling for pizza and beer, what a reward. I do agree with Danielle that it was stupid to sit out Courtney and Sandra in the reward challenge. I would have been upset, too! Why sit out the two weakest people in a challenge that is not physical and is just for reward? However, getting to eat is always a huge advantage. It gives you energy and a better chance to win the next challenge.

The Heroes win another challenge! They are on a roll. I loved listening to JT's confessional about voting out Boston Rob and how Coach and Russell are on the outs. This just shows how each tribe has no idea what's happening at the other.

I have to say I wasn't a huge Jerri fan but, after this episode, I do like her a little more. I love that she calls it like she sees it. "Everyone on this tribe is an idiot!" They were in full battle mode when they arrived back at camp after losing yet another challenge. It's amazing how much was said in front of Sandra's face. It was all true though, Sandra and Courtney are by far the weakest women on the tribe.

Sandra is a smart woman - she sees what Russell is doing. All she had to do was play on his ego. Everyone is playing according to what Russell wants the game to be. Everyone is scared to bring up his name and won't vote him out. Same with my season, Marisa didn't like him- gone, Betsy battled him- gone. I wanted Ben out (who was Russell's pal- bam, I was gone). Sandra played this to her advantage and put a little bug in his ear that Coach wanted him out.

Now for the immunity challenge. Face diving in the mud to get flags. This challenge was not made for Courtney. Honestly, was any challenge? She looks like she's about 50 pounds. Like I have said in my other blogs, she looks like she's going to break in half and that's why they sit her out. I so called it, she hurt her ankle. Now she is even weaker! If they know what's best for them they will get rid of her! The heroes took the win again. They are on a roll!

I have to be honest. When they walked into tribal, I truly thought they would vote out Courtney. All of their decisions are based on alliances, not strength. That tends to be the way it goes in Survivor. You could be the weakest player and make it to the end if you know how to talk. Tribal is always very intimidating. The second Jeff said my name, I would get nervous and try to think of what he was going to call me out on. I liked this tribal, and everything that was said.

Coach being voted out did not make me happy. I like him, I thought he was a great character and strong in challenges. And he is the first member of the jury, very interesting! Maybe a merge won't be happening as soon as I thought it would. Good twist if that's the case.
