Tonight, on Project Runway, it's the halfway point to Bryant Park and some of these designers are really going to need to step it up if they have any hopes of making it there. Tim takes everyone to Michael Kors' store in SoHo to find out their next challenge. And a challenge it is! They'll have to create a look using items from a hardware store, which includes an outfit and an accessory to compliment it.

No Mood for these people! Their budget at the hardware store is $150 each. Most people grab sheets of metal and things they can buy in yards. Emilio goes with washers and cord but has to leave half of it behind because he's way over budget. I hope he can make an outfit out of what he has...

When Tim makes the rounds, he seems disappointed that so many of the guys are using a copper material. He does, however, seem impressed with Jay, who is using garbage bags to create a leather effect. Maya also impresses with a necklace made of keys and screen and a look that could have a real "wow factor" if it's pulled off properly.

When the models come in for their fitting, Emilio realizes he doesn't have enough material (duh) and now has to make a bathing suit. Jay's material is literally shrinking as he's working on it and his model can't fit into her pants! Some people have a lot of work to do before this runway show.

Tonight's guest judges are fashion designer Isabel Toldeo and jewelry designer Stephen Webster. Jay, Amy, Maya, and Mila are standouts on the runway for all the right reasons. Heidi lets Ben, Jonathan, Amy, and Seth Aaron know that their scores are high enough to keep them safe for another week. Emilio, Anthony, and Jesse find themselves in the bottom. Emilio is told his bathing suit is a cheesefest, Anthony's design looks like a bad prom dress, and Jesse's look seems like a costume for a Hershey Kiss or a dirty vacuum bag. Ouch.

Jay is the winner - yes! His look was totally awesome and there's no way you'd ever think it was made out of trash bags. Rounding out the top group are Mila and Maya, who are both of course safe. Thankfully, Anthony is safe. He has great potential but more than that, he's a lot of fun to watch. Emilio dodges a bullet and is granted another week in the competition, while it's the end of the road for Jesse LeNoir.
