Last night on Celebrity Rehab, the good times are over and detox began! The physical and emotional part of getting clean is why most people stay hooked.  Mike Starr (former member of Alice in Chains and 17 year intravenous drug user) was coming down the hardest.  Dr. Drew stated that withdrawal from Methadone is one of the worst feats that can have severe flu-type symptoms and even psychotic behavior.  Poor Mike had it bad and his whole personality switched up and got realllll scary.

During group therapy, Dr. Drew asked for the patients to share their most "rock bottom" experience.  Mindy said her "rock bottom" was when she watched her man go to jail for the attempting to kill her!  Mackenzie Phillips’ low-low was the big drug bust at LAX.  Everyone had a “rock bottom” but Dennis Rodman…of course.  The docs try to explain that although D. Rod thinks he can control his drinking; he has still suffered consequences due to it.  Dennis shrugs.  He doesn’t even think that things such as 70 police visits to his home indicate that he has a problem.  At this point, even Dennis’s fellow rehab-mates tell him to get off of his high horse!  Dennis’s court orders include community service and the staff has him in the kitchen busting suds.  Naturally, Dennis acted as though he’s “too-good” for that task too.

Later, the bad gets worse for Mike.  He hates the cameras, his life and doesn’t want to get clean due to the pain.  Mike lives in the past and won’t let go.  He is fixated on the devastation of no longer being in his band (which ended almost 2 decades ago).  Since then, he’s been shooting drugs (with his dad at times) and neared death on many occasions.  The night vision cameras catch Mike spewing chunks at 3am.  The next morning, Shelley (the head rehab tech) was stuck with the disgusting duty of cleaning it up as Mike refused to help. 

Lisa, the “bout it-bout it” model still doesn't think she has a drinking problem.  Dr. Drew asked her for a timeline of VIP events in her life.  This provoked Lisa to discuss the horrific physical abuse by mom’s boyfriends.  She said that she realized she couldn't talk privately with her mom the day that her mom called her out.  Lisa said that her mom’s boyfriend would walk around the house in his underwear with an erection.  She told her mom that she didn’t like it.  At that very moment, her mom shouted at the boyfriend to not walk around the house like that anymore. It embarrassed Lisa and felt she couldn’t confide in her mom privately.  This gave Lisa less of a voice when the boyfriend began molesting her.  She'd put the sheet or pillow over her head and rock back and forth during the attacks.  The rocking is something she still does to this day.  Dr. Drew concluded the meeting and at this point told Lisa that she is in fact an addict.  Later that night, the night vision camera showed Lisa lying in bed…rocking.
 
Day 4 of detox arrived and Mike lost it as he broke his bed lamp and called Shelley a b%+ch and a c*<#!!!   He paced around outside and began bucking up to the camera men.  I wonder if sobriety would be easier if Mike was shown this footage of himself.  Destruction meant termination and the docs discussed sending Mike to the psych hospital.  But Dr. Drew gave Mike a talking-to and he calmed his crazy tail down.

Meanwhile, rehab tech Dr. Forest (the other rehab tech) is hunting down Tom Sizemore.  The "Saving Private Ryan" and "Black Hawk Down" actor is hooked on crystal meth.  Poor Dr. Forest was taken on a wild goose chase trying to get Tom to the recovery center but he finally succeeded.  Tom and Heidi are former lovers and despite him cracking her head open, they embraced upon his arrival.

Later that night, Mackenzie and Mindy lay in bed chit chatting away.  Mindy was describing a conversation with Dr. Drew about drinking.  Mackenzie was cracking up laughing at Mindy's story as Mindy’s body became erect and flipped over onto the floor.  But when Mindy lay stiff and shaking violently Heidi screamed for help.  Mindy wasn’t playing; she was having a seizure.

Next week, we get the results of Mindy’s seizure we see if Tom Sizemore can really be kept in rehab!
