“It Ends In Coto De Caza”

 

If you read the last Real Housewives of Orange County installment, you know that it is Jeana’s last episode tonight! But that doesn’t make it right that this episode was so mercurial and all over the place, I had a hard time figuring out what the heck was going on. 

So, I figured when the show started with Slade and Gretchen in Scottsdale for a party of a friend, this should start things off with a bang. Gretchen does get away with most things with her hilarious attitude and laugh. This time was no exception with Slade and her joking about the name of the hotel: Valley Ho.

Things get serious though when Slade talks about the fact that he got his vasectomy reversed for her, and that she wants 4 kids.  Hmmm…..this might be more than a fling!

 

Tamra stops at Jeana’s with the excuse of finding out if she will be going to the La Perla party, but really they haven’t seen each other since the confrontation involving Gretchen. Matt (Jeana’s husband) is upstairs and has had his second DUI, and all the kids are there. The divorce is ongoing.  Tamra tells Jeana that she feels like Gretchen owes her an apology but Jeana disagrees and says that we are not here “to be the judge or jury.” With that being said, Tamra admits that she thinks Jeana is the pot stirrer and the one that causes all the drama. 

 

Alexis says that when she married Jim, they agreed that it was God 1st, Marriage 2nd, and Children 3rd. She has twins Melania and MacKenna who are 20 months (or for those of us who don’t get why people say that kind of stuff: 1 year and 8 months old!) and a son James who is 3. They also have 2 nannies and Alexis says her goal is to be the best mom and wife she can be. Her husband Jim is an entrepreneur. 

 

Jeana goes to Vicki’s house to clear the air and make sure that all is okay. After talking to Tamra she thinks maybe Vicki is upset with her, but Vicki says that she needs to come to her for those things and not start drama. Jeana tells Vicki she is not going to La Perla and that she has a dinner for her children planned. Vicki, after clearing the air with Jeana says that Jeana is a “pot stirrer and she became toxic in my life.”

Jeana feels that Vicki is “insensitive to my problems”

 

Tamra and Simon are struggling with their marriage this season and Tamra admires the relationship that Alexis and Jim have. Alexis comes over with her family (and one of her two nannies) and swims in Tamra's pool. In her teeny tiny bikini. Tamra is bowled over by her knockers. And her 18 karat diamond ring.  

 

Lynne and her family are moving out of their coastal rental and daughter Alexa is feeling left out. Frank has had 2 bad years and now Lynne’s business is carrying the family. 

 

The La Perla party will be the first time that Gretchen and Tamra have been together since the blow out and also the first time that Alexis has met the rest of the housewives. All of the girls seem to get along. Gretchen shows up first, and goes to the back to try on clothes, mainly to avoid Tamra. Tamra and Alexis show up together and have an awkward moment when Jim won’t let Alexis try on any lingerie because that is for his eyes only (although string bikinis are for everyone else, apparently, judging from her pool party at Tamra’s). Lynne shows up next and brings Alexa with her; they wear the same size so they can share swimwear. Lynne asks Alexis if she had her twins via surrogate after seeing her body.  Gretchen and Tamra stay cordial, and avoid each other at the party. Alexis meets Vicki and likes her. Vicki says “Welcome to my world.”

To which Alexis conceded that Vicki “didn’t have fangs” It ends up being a good night. 

 

Meanwhile, Jeana, who is through with the housewives and all the drama, says that her friendship with Vicki is over done with and never will be repaired, Tamra enjoys being the mean girl, Gretchen has always been a friend and she was not nice to Lynne. But she believes that every time she has been challenged in life she has made it and she needs to focus on her business and her kids now. Eating dinner with Shane, Kara and Colton; Jeana says she is way done with the housewives and it is time to move on. 

Goodbye Jeana! We will miss you! :(
