It was an eventful night on The Ruins as the Challengers went 2-0 in the elimination round including a major upset. There was no drama, no fights, no one getting stupid drunk, and no one getting kicked off early this week but there was still some excitement.

This week's episode focused on the competition instead of the wild party antics of the characters. The Champs won the main competition easily in what was part human relay race part human tug of war. Basically, each team had to pull a member of the other team off a pole and drag them across a line 30 yards away. It got ugly and dirty but the Champs won easily.

Before the event the Challengers voted Cohutta, Brad, Dunbar (only men left on the team), Casey, KellyAnne, and Kim as potential players in the elimination. The Champs voted Johanna, Ibis, Veronica, Kenny, Evan, and, of course, Wes.

The night before the challenge Susie, Ibis, and Johanna came up with a plan to pit Veronica against KellyAnne in the elimination round and most of the team said they were cool with the idea.

After the Champs smoked the Challengers in the early event it was up to them to play matchmaker. Wes nominated himself and since he has been playing fairly, the team let him pick his opponent. He chose Cohutta because it is an "easy win" although his teammates want him to pick Dunbar. Wes wants Cohutta off the challenge because Cohutta and KellyAnne still share a chemistry with each other even though she is dating Wes.

It took less than a minute for the male bracket to be set but the women could not decide what to do. The plan was for Veronica to go against KellyAnne and most of the team is OK with it, but Wes starts to stand up for KellyAnne, his GF, and the votes start swaying in favor of Veronica and not Ibis.

Ibis has done very little this challenge and was the lowest on last week's power rankings, so I do understand why Ibis should be up for elimination. But, what happened to the deal everyone agreed to? LOL, I almost forgot, this is The Ruins.

The matchmakers vote: Johanna, Kenny, and Ibis vote for Veronica vs KellyAnne and Veronica, Evan, and Wes vote for Veronica vs Kimberly. Evan was the deciding vote and when it came his turn he could not decide because he told Ibis he would not vote for her and "Veronica is nice to have around. She's got big t**s and a big ass." His decision was tough but he did not vote for Ibis but his vote made it a tie.

And this is where it got wild. Not like physical, in your face wild, but the votes drastically change. Since the matchmakers could not come up with a decision, the rest of the Champion team was called in to make the final vote.

The teammates could not come in and deliberate with their other teammates and had to make a quick decision. Some of the teammates had no idea about the plan to get Veronica in the elimination challenge and based their vote on how well Ibis and Veronica have played.

The votes came in and Ibis lost by one vote (Johnny Bananas’ vote, who did know the plan) and she will take on Kimberly in The Ruins. Veronica somehow escaped by the skin of her teeth. Wow, I do not know how she did it but she did, she got out of the Ruins and will live to see another week. You should have seen the smug look on her face. Where is Tonya when you need her?

Ibis feels betrayed by Derrick, who were castmates on Road Rules and Johnny Bananas, since he knew the plan but changed his vote for no reason. Suck it up Ibis, you know what you signed up for, you cannot be surprised by anything.

Shockingly Cohutta defeated Wes convincingly in what was a race/maze that Wes did not even finish. Peace out Wes, now without you or CT, the show just got boring. The Challengers took two Champions out as Kimberly defeated Ibis very easily in what was a boring elimination round.

Good for the Challengers, they needed to keep their players around and eliminated Wes, who is a beast.

Power Rankings
1. Evan is still in control.
2. Susie: I don't think a girl has a chance vs. her.
3. Kenny is Evan's sidekick and will likely be around until the end.
4. Darrell proved himself last week and kept his mouth shut this week.
5. Syrus has won in the elimination round and some of his teammates have not even competed.
6. Cohutta defeated Wes and is the best competitor on the Challengers.
7. Dunbar has not done anything to prove himself worthy of a top spot.
8. Derrick has done very little this season.
9. Johnny Bananas needs to keep his mouth shut or he will be going home soon.
10. Brad might be going home next week as he will be up for elimination and has not proved himself in The Ruins yet.
11. Sarah got the week off after defeating Katie last week.
12. Kimberly convincingly won an elimination challenge albeit against dead weight.
13. KellyAnne needs to start proving why everyone thinks so highly of her competitiveness.
14. Johanna has no business still being in The Ruins while Wes was sent home.
15. Veronica's days are numbered.
16. Casey has no business still on the show but the Champs want her around because she is so bad. The cameras caught her smoking, I had no idea.

My picks to go home next week are Johanna and Johnny Bananas.
