BALA CYNWYD, Penn. -- September 8, 2006 - Partnering with Upper Darby High School, NBC 10 News is proud to present "The Upper Darby Project," an original and innovative experiment that will focus on the lives of several high school students as they progress throughout the school year. With the success of last year's Oxford Project' (Oxford Area High School in Chester County, PA), NBC 10 News will once again give viewers an exclusive look into the daily lives and issues of local high school students.

The Upper Darby Project, hosted by NBC 10 News Anchor Lauren Cohn, will air bi-weekly on Fridays during the 4PM news, and will re-broadcast on Saturdays during the 9AM news. You can also watch the segments on NBC10.com. Like The Oxford Project, the exciting documentary-style segments will highlight some of the real life issues affecting teenagers today. Topics addressed in The Oxford Project ranged from coping with the death of a classmate to managing the challenges of teenage parenthood.

For a first hand look into the trials and triumphs of high school life through the eyes of several teenagers, be sure to tune into NBC 10 News at 4PM on Friday, September 22nd for the kickoff segment of "The Upper Darby Project."
