Hell’s Kitchen is back with not one, but two episodes, to kick off season 6 tonight on FOX.  Melinda, of the red team, has already been eliminated.  Season 5 chef Robert, who left early due to health problems, is back for a second chance and cooking with the women.  Things kick off in the second episode with a challenge: chefs will have 10 minutes to dehead, deshell, and devein as many shrimp as they can.  The women lose another challenge and must do all the prep work for the dinner service.  The men get another meal, this time at Newport Harbor.  Betcha Robert is wishing he was wearing a blue jacket right about now.

Tableside service will be part of tonight’s dinner and Van and Tennille have been selected as the lucky two who will interact with the diners.  My money is on Van to make a stronger impression.  I like Tennille, but he has the bigger personality.  In the kitchen, Tony is getting his butt handed to him by not only Chef Ramsay, but his fellow teammates.  He looks like a deer caught in headlights but you might too if someone was screaming in your face, calling you four eyes and saying you can’t cook.

I take back what I said about Van.  When Jean-Philippe tries to offer him some advice, Van yells in his face and tells him he doesn’t want to hear it.  Um, who does that?  If Ramsay’s right hand man was trying to throw me some words of wisdom, I’d shut my mouth and open my ears.  Neither team impresses... in fact, they piss off Chef Ramsay so much that he shuts down the restaurant after raw shrimp is almost served to a pregnant diner.  Both teams have to name two people up for elimination and things get heated during deliberation.  The nominees are: Tennille, Lovely, Tony, and Andy.

When Chef Ramsay asks Joseph to name the nominees and why they're up for elimination, he mouths off and refuses to answer the question.  Joseph starts turning on everyone, telling Gordon he's not a bitch and swearing at the men and women in the competition.  He throws his coat down on the ground and tells Ramsay he'll take him outside right now.  To be continued next week... wow.
