Tonight, on The Fashion Show, the designers meet up with Laura Brown from Harper’s Bazaar magazine and are faced immediately with a challenge.  Laura introduces Elizabeth Olsen, an eco-friendly shoe designer, and the designers will have to create their own version of a pair of shoes.  Shoes!  Talk about stepping out of their comfort zone.  Elizabeth seems to like what Lidia, Johnny, Haven, Keith, Daniella, and Anna have done.  Considering she liked two of the three designs very much, it’s no surprise that Reco’s team is declared the best team and Johnny is the winner.  A version of his shoe will be available for purchase on Bravo’s website.

The shoe theme continues tonight in the elimination challenge.  The contestants will have to design an entire outfit based on a single pair of fabulous shoes.  Oh, we’ve all been guilty of buying a pair of shoes because they’re cute or trendy without having an outfit to go with it.  Just ask my black and purple tweed pumps sitting in my closet.  Everyone is given only five minutes to select a pair of shoes and everyone is successful in doing so… except Angel.  Isaac assigns her a pair of red, white, and blue nautical looking heels by Stella McCartney.  The look on her face is pretty priceless because those shoes would probably not go with a thing she would design.  This oughta be interesting.

Yes!!  Isaac and Kelly did away with teams!  Thank you! 

You’ll remember that, last week, there was a dispute between Daniella and Andrew because he supposedly stole her design.  This week, she’s trying to check in on what he’s doing in the workroom.  How about everybody mind their own business and come up with their own ideas?  Isaac and Kelly check in on the designers to see how things are going.  Kelly really can’t add much other than what she likes or doesn’t like, while Isaac obviously has tons of helpful constructive criticism.  Afterwards, they seem most excited about what Lidia and Daniella are doing.

Reco’s overconfidence starts to irritate his fellow contestants.  Besides constantly talking himself up, he’s also always the first one finished.  Tonight, he thought he’d take a little snooze and Isaac himself had to wake him up to tell him that the runway show was just 30 minutes away.  Imagine Isaac Mizrahi waking you up from a perfectly good dream!

At the runnway show,  I like what Andrew, Haven, Johnny, Angel, and Reco have done.  Hell, I’d buy Haven’s outfit right now!  In panel, the judges let everyone know that they’re very happy with the work that everyone did but the top three looks go to Angel, Daniella, and Reco.  90% of the audience called Reco’s design fashion forward.  Wow, that’s impressive.  One audience member called Daniella’s design was “sleek and sexy” while others felt that Angel’s look was reminiscent of summer in the Hamptons.  Reco is named the winner.  Does anyone else feel that ego swell even more?

The two designers that land in the bottom are Lidia and Andrew.  I'm surprised Merlin's horror of an outfit wasn't up there.  Shows hos much I know.  Kelly let Andrew know that one audience member felt his design was uninspired.  Fern isn't happy that both designs feature boring, neutral colors.  After debating, the judges hand down their decision.  Andrew will be headed home.
