Tonight, on Make Me A Supermodel, the final five models get a note that lets them know they’re about to become polar bars…  and they’re probably gonna freeze their butts off in the photo shoot.  The models have been waiting for a beach shoot all season.  The problem is that they were hoping for somewhere warm and instead, they’re stuck in New York.  As a New England girl, I can tell you that the beach is the last place I’d want to be in the winter.  As if this isn’t bad enough, they’ll have to pose with dead sea creatures.  In what world is this sexy?

The temperature outside is a chilly 36 degrees and Salome is up first, with eels draped around her arms.  Gross.  The photographer keeps telling her to suck in her stomach, which I don’t understand since she’s a stick, and to stop smiling so much.  It’s not until she shows her rear end that everyone starts praising her.  Jonathan is told to toughen up as he carries two giant fish.  Sandhurst is next to hit the beach, with slimy octopus hanging off of his shoulders.  He is so distracted by the cold that he has a hard time changing up his face for the photographs.  To be fair to him, he is getting totally conflicting advice from everyone working on the shoot.  How frustrating!

After stuffing two heat packs down his bathing suit, Branden is next to be photographed.  He has to hold up a 150 pound fish.  Even though she has immunity, Mountaha doesn’t slack off in her shoot.  In fact, she’s even more determined to show that the judges made the right decision with her.  The next day, Nicole shows up at the apartment to show everyone their pictures.  Right off the bat, Mountaha’s and Jonathan’s pictures stand out to me but surprisingly, it’s Salome who wins the challenge.

Mountaha and Salome head to a go see for a swimsuit company.  Even though the owner expresses concern over their bodies, he says he would book them both.  The boys help promote a furniture store by posing on the pieces.  While Branden and Jonathan embrace the task, Sandhurst had a hard time feeling comfortable talking to potential customers on the street.

In tonight's runway challenge, the models will have to show two looks.  One will high glamour and the other will be goth and not only that, they'll have to do it in bleach blonde wigs.  The judges are impressed with Branden's strong walk but not so much with his photo.  They wish Jonathan toned down his photo a bit and hope to see more emotion from him on the catwalk.  Salome is told that her runway entrance was weak but they seem to like her photo.  Still, they don't think it's her best week.  Mountaha has shown the judges that she continues to grow from week to week, taking the advice she is given and applying it.  Sandhurst takes a bit of a beating and it seems he could be in trouble.

After deliberating, the judges name Jonathan this week's winner.  He doesn't have immunity but I guess that earns him some bragging rights.  Sandhurst and Salome are left in the bottom two.  Sandhurst lives to see another day and Salome is eliminated from the competition.
