Jordan Condra of Make Me A Supermodel 2

by Gina Scarpa

Last night, on Make Me A Supermodel, the models participated in a group photo shoot without much structure.  The photographer was free to shoot whoever he wanted and whoever was standing out to him.  At the runway challenge, the contestants not only had to walk - but slide.  Each model was asked to wear a pair of Heelys, which tripped a few people up.  In the end, Jordan was eliminated from the competition and today, she spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Tell us a little bit about your modeling experience prior to getting on the show.
A. Jordan: I had about a year’s worth of experience and I went to Singapore for three months.  I did a bunch of stuff out there.  Basically, I’ve just been modeling on and off in Arizona.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to be on Make Me A Supermodel and what were you hoping to get out of going on a reality TV show?
A. Jordan: My goal for Make Me A Supermodel was to get as much exposure as I could plus you get a prize if you win, you get a contract, and you learn a lot.  You’re doing something right if you can beat out a bunch of other people.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: It seemed that last night’s group photo shoot was a bit unstructured.  How did you feel about it?
A. Jordan: I wasn’t a fan of that photo shoot last night.  I actually wasn’t a fan of the group shot photo challenges at all.  I noticed a pattern that we started having a group shot every other photo shoot and it got old for me.  Last night, things were pretty stressful.  It was very unorganized.  The girls were stuck in hair and makeup like they showed and they guys were getting a ton of frames.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did Nicole or Tyson give you any advice that helped you in the competition?
A. Jordan: Actually, I feel like Nicole didn’t really help that much.  She would give advice before each photo shoot and basically, she would just refer back to her own photo shoots to give us our advice which wasn’t that helpful.  The judges gave good feedback but as for Nicole or Tyson, they didn’t really help at all.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: The runway challenges always have some kind of catch and last night, you were asked to wear Heelys.  I know for a  fact that those things are a lot tougher to use than they look, right?
A. Jordan: It was hard!  Those things look so easy and when I found out were doing that, I thought, “Okay this is gonna be easy,” and it was really hard!  You have to balance yourself in a weird way.  It was really hard on the runway because it was kind of slick so I’m really shocked that the other models got it so quickly because of the texture on the runway.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did you think that you were going to be the one to go home?
A. Jordan: I was really surprised.  I had a feeling it was going to be me just because of how it went down at the catwalk.  Usually, at the elimination challenges, you can judge who is going to go home based on the critiques that they get.  I knew it was between me and Salome.  I feel like it shouldn’t have been but unfortunately, it was.  I was hoping I’d get a second chance but Salome won the photo shoot and there was no way they were sending her home.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What is your goal now?  Do you want to focus more on modeling or acting?
A. Jordan: I want to go to New York.  I’ve been wanting to go there since I was little.  I am definitely gonna go there and go on to pursue modeling and see what happens.  I’m gonna keep modeling as long as I can.
