The contestants on Make Me A Supermodel season 2 need to remember one thing: if your mentor gives you some advice, you might want to take it.  On this week's episode, Nicole Trunfio tried to warn Karen that she was blending in with the group and failing to stand apart as a model.  When it came time for panel, the judges told her the very same thing and eliminated her from the competition.  Today, Karen spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive interview, opening up about who she saw as her competition, what she thought of Nicole's advice, and where she'll take her modeling career from here.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you decide to try out for the second season of Make Me A Supermodel?
A. Karen: I saw a casting call online and I decided to apply.  I applied because I want to model full time and I thought it was a good opportunity to put myself out there.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did you have a lot of experience prior to going on the show?
A. Karen: Not a lot of experience.  I had been modeling for about a year.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When you arrived for the show, did you see any of the other girls as your competition?
A. Karen: When I showed up, there were a couple that stood out.  I thought Jordan would definitely be a tough competitor.  Nobody else though really stood out to me or made me worry.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Some of the photo shoots have required the models to be very physical.  Do you prefer shoots where you are active or where you are more stationary and standing still?
A. Karen: I'm used to standing still but I'm always up for a challenge because it opens you up to new things.  I'm used to regular shoots but I want to learn about different avenues of modeling.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did you think that, out of the group, your photo was the weakest?
A. Karen: I definitely didn't think my photo was the weakest.  I thought Sandhurst, Jordan, and I had one of the strongest photos.  We used so many different angles.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Nicole Trunfio tried to warn you that you needed to stand out from the group.  Did you think that meant you were in danger or did you think she was just trying to help you out?
A. Karen: I thought she was just giving advice.  She let me know that I needed to stand out.  That was the main thing that she told me, to be aware about blending in.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did you prefer runway challenges or photo challenges on the show?
A. Karen: This season, I performed better in the photo challenges.  My experience was more with photo shoots than with runway.  I've done a couple of runway shows.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Where will you go with your modeling career from here?
A. Karen: Moving forward, I want to do more print work but I am also interested in commercial and runway work as well.
