This week on Make Me a Supermodel, the remaining contestants are asked to pose as candy. They have crazy make up and no costume, just body paint. There are a lot of appreciative glances thrown about – I love the potential drama that co-ed models provide. They portrayed one of seven candy options – Candy Cane, Sprinkles, Lollipop, Pixie Sticks, Bubble Gum, Rock Candy, or Chocolate. The photos were all very colorful, but while some shined bright others faded into the background.

The strongest photos were Salome, Sandhurst, Jordan (all who proved strong in the first week), and Brendan and Jonathan were greatly improved from last week. Gabriel’s Pixie Stick shot looked like a mug shot. Jordan wins immunity this week, though Sandhurst’s was my favorite. Jordan and Mounhata go on the go-see to Miss Sixty, but both of them would not have been hired. Mountaha was “too edgy” for the style, while the jeans did not suit Jordan’s wide hips. I like that Make Me a Supermodel has the same prize every week. It’s a constructive prize to help them grow as well as provide them with a great opportunity.

Meanwhile, the others are getting makeovers by Tabitha Coffey! Drama abounds as everyone is unsure of how their looks will turn out. CJ has the biggest issue – her long blonde hair is getting chopped and dyed brown. She has always had long, blonde hair and thought of it as part of  who she is. I think she looks great, if she didn’t look so miserable all the time because of it. I also loved Mountaha’s blonde look, it makes her stand out more. I’m not sure how I feel about Jonathan’s shorter do, it looks good but now he doesn’t look as unique.

Last comes the Catwalk Challenge – walking in pairs, each with a prop. Salome and Colin were first and totally nailed it. Colin’s walk was greatly improved from last week and they had great interaction with their props and each other. Brendan and Sandhurst had great chemistry and prop usage. Mountaha and Chris were a bit awkward with their props. It didn’t feel like they were walking with each other, but just next to each other. Even though there’s tension between Jordan and Amanda, they managed to put it aside and rock their walk. For me the weakest walkers were Mountaha, Chris, and CJ.

The judges single out Colin, Jordan, Gabriel, Chris, Jonathan, Brendan, and CJ.  Brendan is the strongest and wins immunity for next week.  Jonathan, Colin, and Jordan – they’re all safe. Gabriel is in jeopardy because of his mug shot photo, CJ for her attitude after the haircut, and Chris for his average photo and awkward catwalk. It’s between Chris and Gabriel, but in the end the judges don’t think they can make Chris into a supermodel. Of all the models, I thought he looked the most high-fashion. But then, looking at his photos and catwalk, it just didn’t mesh for me and was too awkward and stiff.
