Cody Linley Departs On Dancing With The Stars

I hate when that happens.  I log onto my computer and open up my blog document before I begin watching the show and then it happens - Yahoo headlines tell me who got booted off the show already.  You see, I’m in California and the show airs three hours earlier on the East coast.  So before I even get to watch the show I already know who’s been eliminated leaving very little surprise for me while watching the show.  As I said last night, Cody was most at risk, so for obvious reasons Cody was eliminated leaving Brooke, Warren, and Lance left to battle it out for the winning title.  Personally I would love to see Lance take the mirror ball home with all that he’s had to endure with the judges during this season.   

Granted the surprise of who was going home was eliminated early, but tonight’s entertainment was totally on point tonight.  First we were graced with Aretha Franklin singing her timeless hit Chain of Fools.  Then we got to see Leona Lewis singing her hit Bleeding Love.  Then Dancing With The Stars own Julianne Hough sang her country single My Hallelujah Song.  (Tell me is there anything this girl CAN’T do????)  As if that wasn’t enough entertainment for the night John Legend came out and sang his hit Green Light.  Wrapping up was once again Aretha singing another timeless classic Respect!
