This week’s guest judge was one of my personal favorites, Adam Shankman.  This week is the last week to vote for the winner of this season’s So You Think You Can Dance.

Again the couples danced two routines after choosing their partners and their dance styles out of a hat.  Here is my take on this week’s performances including the solos:

Mark & Courtney performed a VIENNESE WALTZ first.  It was so beautiful it made me cry.  Their second routine was a JAZZ number.  It was the most unique jazz piece I’d ever seen and they danced it brilliantly.  I loved every minute of it!  Mark’s solo was one of the best solos I’ve seen this season and Courtney’s solo just proved to me that no matter what type of dance this girl is performing, I love to watch her.

Twitch & Chelsie performed a MAMBO first.  I loved it but felt Twitch lacked a little in dance technique.  But he sure rocked those black satin pants!!!   Their second routine was a HIP-HOP routine choreographed by Napoleon & Tabitha.  These are my least favorite choreographer’s on the show and many times I think they hurt the dancers from moving forward.  This was one of those times.  Chelsie’s solo once again displayed her mesmerizing beauty and why she has made it to the final six.  Twitch’s solo was, as always, very entertaining.  I see Twitch touring with some famous musical act at some point in the future.

Joshua & Katee performed a Tyce Diorio CONTEMPORARY number first.  I agreed with the judges.  It was one of the most magnificent dances I’ve ever seen on this show.  It also made me cry.  Their second dance was a PASA DOBLE.  These two are a pair to be reckoned with that is for sure!  It was phenomenal.  Josh’s solo blew me away, as it always does.  Katee’s solo I felt lacked a little.  I expect more from her at this point in the competition.

My favorite dances of the night were as follows:

Mark & Courtney (Viennese Waltz)
Mark & Courtney (Jazz)
Joshua & Katee (Contemporary)
Joshua & Katee (Pasa Doble)

I don’t know how people are going to vote because all six of these dancers are unbelievable and will have great careers ahead of them. 

My two favorite girls are, and have been all along, Courtney & Chelsie.  But we all know Katee deserves to be in the finale just as much as my two favorites.

My two favorite guys are Joshua and up until last week Twitch, but I have to honestly say that Mark changed my mind this week.  I would love to see him in the finale.  But if Twitch makes it I certainly won’t be disappointed either. 

As for who is going home – your guess is as good as mine.
