Dominique Americas Next Top Model

Today we participated in a conference call for Americas Next Top Model where Dominique Reighard, a 23 year old receptionist from Columbus, OH was the 10th girl recently eliminated from the show. Here’s what she had to say:

Q. How did you end up on the show?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): I have been interested in the show ever since the first cycle. I knew I wanted to do this for a long time and I ended up trying out 5 times before finally making it on the show.

Q. Did you bond with any of the girls on the show?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): They are all very special to me and I will stay in touch with all of them.

Q. Are you more grounded now?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): I have been known as the self absorbed villain, but I think I was portrayed accurately. A lot of stuff was left out so of course there was a lot that you missed. I am grounded and confident with myself.

Q. What’s the best piece of advice you received while you were on the show?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): Elle Mcpherson was talking about her modeling experiences and told us how we always have to keep our grace and integrity. Also to stay positive.

Q. Are you going to pursue modeling?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): Yes, I am going to pursue modeling, acting, correspondent work or whatever comes my way. This is what I love to do, so I am moving to Los Angeles and I am very excited about the opportunities that are presenting themselves.

Q. Do you think your elimination surprised you?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): I can’t say I agreed or disagreed with their decision. I don’t feel rejected, I feel I have grown and learned so much.

Q. Why did you have problems with some of the other girls?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): There were times where I didn’t get along with some of the girls. I think my confidence was taken the wrong way. I learned to be more adaptable and understand people better.

Q. A lot of people have spoken about the way you speak in 3rd person, what’s the deal with that? How about the transvestite comments?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): I don’t think it is a problem. I am quite entertaining. Tyra Banks talks to herself in third person, so when she apologizes so will I. Everybody has always said stuff about me and I embrace it. Transvestites are some of the most beautiful women in the world.

Q. Do you have any regrets?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): I got a crash course on how to model. I learned how to pose and everything else that goes into modeling.

Q. Any words to your fans?

A. Dominique, (Americas Next Top Model): I appreciate all of my fans and it is a great feeling that they care so much.
