In the season 16 finale of "The Voice," 16-year-old Maelyn
Jarmon was named the champion. Jarmon was among touch competition with the
other Top 4 finalists - Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts and Andrew Severner, all
from Team Blake. Her rookie Coach John Jengend also gets his first victory in
his inaugural season on the series.

In the second season finale of "American Idol" on ABC, Laine
Hardy was crowned the winner of "American Idol." The 18 year-old from
Livingston, Louisiana, and fellow Top 3 Finalists Alejandro Aranda and Madison
VanDenburg performed in an epic season finale event on Sunday.
"For the first time in "Idol" history, America's live
coast-to-coast vote determined the winner of the iconic singing
competition series, as all voting took place during the show," says the ABC

Discovery Channel announced an all-new season of "Naked and
Afraid XL" will premiere June 2nd with 12 survivalists attempting to
survive 40 days and 2 All-Star survivalists who will be attempting an unprecedented

USA Network announced the fan-favorite competition series, "The
Biggest Loser," will reboot on the network next year.
"The revamped version of the iconic NBC hit competition
series will feature men and women competing to not only lose weight, but to
improve their overall wellbeing. Each episode will feature a team of experts
including a trainer, chef and life coach, who will help guide the contestants
as they embark on the biggest transformations of their lives. Experts to be
announced," said the USA Network press release.

NBC announced superstars Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam
Levine and Blake Shelton will return to their red chairs as coaches in season
17 of "The Voice" this fall. Carson Daly will also return to host the musical
competition series.
In last night's episode the Top 8 performed for America's
vote. In celebration of The Beatles, the paired up performing duets of songs
from band. Top 4 finalists will be revealed on the live show tonight airing
Tuesday, May 14.
