STAND-UP COMEDIANS WILL AGAIN VIE FOR THE TITLE 'LAST COMIC STANDING' WHEN THE EMMY-NOMINATED SERIES RETURNS TO NBC THIS SUMMER

BURBANK, Calif. -- January 18, 2006 -- The Emmy-nominated series "Last Comic Standing" will return to NBC this summer in search of the funniest comedian in America, it was announced today by Craig Plestis, Senior Vice President, Alternative Programming and Development. In its first two seasons, the show garnered critical and popular acclaim as it traveled the country looking for the best stand-up comedians, and rewarded them with an exclusive talent deal with the network.

CBS today announced 16 new castaways to compete in SURVIVOR: PANAMA -- EXILE ISLAND. The castaways will begin as four tribes and at least one castaway each week will be banished to a separate island when the 12th installment of the Emmy Award-winning, top-rated series premieres Thursday, Feb. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
