A major event in my life was:

My mother had an open heart surgery that went terribly wrong. She wasn't able to talk, walk, or feed herself for 3 months. After coming through from recovery the Doctor who performed her surgery didn't repair he valve leakage correctly and I was told my mom wouldn't live long and risk a 50/50 chance of having a second heart surgery. She had the surgery after being in and out of the hospital over 100 times. Now the same woman who doctors said wouldn't live is working out,singing in church.
