About Me

Acting/Talent Experience:
I've done musicals, but I mostly perform for private parties, weddings, funerals, and conventions. On a side note besides myself, I really want to get my mom on a makeover show. She's 65 and had major back surgery a little over 12 years ago. Because she can't get around as well and can't wear heels anymore she doesn't dress up like she used to and seems very sad. She's always saying how much she wants a makeover. Especially from "How To Look 10 Years Younger" or similiar show.

A major event in my life was:
On 2/27/09 my dog, Lady Audrey Rose (Audrey for short) had two strokes and had to be put to sleep. Though I knew it was coming since she was 16, I've been really depressed ever since. Unable to control my spending or eating. Like if going into debt and packing on pounds will somehow make me feel better. I miss Audrey so terribly. I feel like part of me died with her.
The accomplishment I am most proud of:
Anytime I nail a song I'm proud.
An embarrassing story about me was:
Being fat every single day is an embarassing moment.

My eyes.

I have two small tattoos that I'm thinking of having removed. A rose on my right shoulder and a rose on my right leg. My ears are the only thing pierced.
The weirdest thing about me is:
I'm 30-something year old woman who listens to people like Barry Manilow, Elvis Presley, and Glenn Miller. Plus I love Star Trek and I collect comic books. What ISN'T weird about me?

Stubborn, opinionated, shy, depressed, sometimes even suicidal - the last comes from being overweight and having difficulty losing it.

Miscellaneous Information:
All I want to do is sing for a living. Music is my one true love. But since I do a style that isn't "popular" I don't have many chances to show my talents off. I really wish someone was willing to take a chance on me. I KNOW I have the talent. I just need someone's help. Also to casting agents: My answering machine is garbling messages and my voice mail is cutting off which is why I haven't called back. E-mail is WAY more reliable at this time. Thank you!
