A major event in my life was:
Right after I launched my new product poshAir, an inflight sleeping bag, I was diagnosed with a 21 cm tumor. I had to undergo a life saving surgery with a major reconstruction of my anatomy. I am now fully recovered, but from now on I treat every day like it is my last and I always express gratitude for family and friends who supported me during the most turbulent and difficult time in my life.
The accomplishment I am most proud of:
I am the Founder & CEO of poshAir, Inc and I invented a new sleeping bag that updates the travel blanket for the 21st century. The poshAir transforms every journey into a first class travel experience.
I funded and marketed poshAir all by myself. In only six months, the poshAir developed from an idea to a coveted product, securing a feature profile in SkyMall's Late Spring 2006 Catalog. My proudest moment was seeing poshAir on the TODAY Show:http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/21791848
An embarrassing story about me was:
I was a personal assistant to very well known producer. My task was to prepare his house in the Hamptons for his arrival. So I drove from Manhattan to the Hamptons to prepare the house with fresh flowers and make sure everything was to his liking before he arrived. I was supposed to leave the keys underneath the doormat. In my haste to get a ride with some others back to NYC before the traffic, I forgot to leave the keys under the doormat. I was so embarrassed when I had to tell him this!
