Jessica was awarded Vocal Music scholarships to the highly acclaimed Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she chose to attend. In August of 2002, my grandma suddenly passed away at the age of 59. She was my biggest and strongest supporter, and it took a long time for me to make sense of what had taken place. I knew there was no way to fill the void in my life that her passing had caused, so I began to dig deeper and deeper into my music. I wanted to do something with my life that I knew she would be proud of. And so to this day, I continue to pursue my passions and make music that inspires!
