A major event in my life was:
We were in Haiti during the earthquake of 2010. The morning after I was in the city as we tried to rescue survivors, sew up wounded victims in the streets, and find friends we could not locate. The next weeks were spent helping transport food, water, clothing, and caring for the orphaned and hurting. We started an orphanage, feeding programs, and prostitute rescue mission in the aftermath of the quake. It changed us forever.
