A major event in my life was:
The passing of my father, growing up I resented him for not being there as often as he should have been. As I got older he and I became very close and I understood his reasons for not being there more so than I did when I was younger. I think it helped more hearing it from him as opposed to hearing it from someone else. I feel this has allowed me to never judge a book by its cover which is something I was used to doing with everyone I came in contact with. Leave the judgement in GOD's hands
