jr_chuck.jpg Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) How did you end up getting on Bullrun? Did you go to an open call or submit a tape?

A. JR: I was searching the web, ran across Bullrun, and had no idea what it was. I said to myself, "Why not try it out? I love cars and racing." So I went back online to Spike TV and applied. I originally picked my brother to be on the show with me but later switched him with Chuck since Chuck had more knowledge about cars. Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) What was the best thing about being on Spike TV's Bullrun?

A. JR: The people and places. Chuck: The cast and the scenery we had never seen and may never see again. JR: I agree with Chuck. We met great people and personalities. Chuck: You would never think people from different states and different ethnicities would click so well. Mark: I thought I saw a bit of conflict on the show with other teams. Chuck: They needed some conflict in the show but everyone got along great.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Now that the show is on air, what is it like to watch yourself on the show?

A. Chuck: It is cool to see what was going on in other cars, what others people said about you. After the show, you forget what you talked about and what you said, it's like watching someone else. I would was like, "Did I really say that? That's not what I meant." Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Was there anything about the Bullrun experience that you weren't expecting?

A. JR: The challenges, I had the best time of my life. I have never done that with my car. We had no idea what to expect when we showed up.

Q. Mark (RealityWanted.com) Have you guys done a rally prior to Bullrun?

A. JR: Never, so we didn't know what to expect. My car never leaves the state. The whole experience was awesome.

Q. Mark (Realitywanted.com) You drove a BMW M3. Were you happy with it or would you have preferred a different car?

A. JR: We submitted Chuck's car and Spike TV played with the idea of using his. Since they were going to use Chuck's, we did not get my BMW ready for the race. Chuck: It was all last minute. Mark: What car did you submit? Chuck: I have a 2006 Subaru STI

Q. Mark (Realitywanted.com) How much damage to the car?

A. JR: You may have seen the damage on the car like the radiator. We also got rock chips when we hit the glass, and I broke my windshield.

Q. Mark (Realitywanted.com) How was it to have the cameras following you? Was that hard to get used to?

A. JR: It was really weird, you have cameras in your face the whole time and you try not to put on an act. We had a chase car almost run us off the road at one point. Chuck: At first, you're nervous about the cameras., Later on, you don't even know they are on so you say, "Fuck it, I don't care."

Q. Mark (Realitywanted.com) Which car other than your own was your favorite?

A. JR: Right away, we loved the Lambo and Charger.

Q. Mark (Realitywanted.com) Do you have any Bullrun regrets?

A. Chuck: That's a tough one. I feel like I made the right decision and JR did as well. You think to yourself, "Could we have won if we didn't drop out?" JR: We wouldn't have done it any other way. Chuck: If it was other way around and JR lost a family member, I would have dropped out of the race as well. I do think we should have followed each others instincts at times and we didn't. JR: I should have followed Chuck's navigation at times. Chuck: (laughing) Yeah, he should have.

Q. Mark (Realitywanted.com) Would you do it again?

A. Chuck: In a millisecond. JR: If they called me back we would do it ASAP. I would pack and go.
