I spoke with Jay today from Bravo’s Make Me a Supermodel. Jay, a mechanic from Roswell GA, was the fourth model to be eliminated from the show. Jay chatted with me about his plans to move to New York, who he thinks America would vote as the hottest female house guest to make out with and who he would vote to keep in the house.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What originally got you interested in doing Make Me A Supermodel?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I had been modeling for about two years when a friend of mine told me about the casting call. At first I
wasn’t interested until I did some online research and then decided to apply.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What did you find out online that helped change your mind about applying?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I read about how successful Make Me A Supermodel had done in the UK.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Good call, I didn’t know that it started oversees. What were you up to right before you took off for the show?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I was working as a mechanic and had to take a leave of absence.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What are you up to now that you left the house?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I am not working right now but I am on the verge of moving to New York and land a part time job while I pursue modeling.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: What about your girlfriend is she coming along to New York with you?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: No she is going to stay here.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: So are you two staying together? It seems the show has changed some of the cast’s relationships.

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I want it to work but I don’t think she believes it will.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Let’s move onto the eliminations. You were on the chopping block three times. How hard was that to deal with week in and week out?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: The first time that I was on the bottom three I was like, oh God please give me another week to knock out a good photo shoot. I got another shot and then I was back on the bottom three, so I knew my lacking area was the photo shoot . I wanted to work harder at it but got eliminated and didn’t get another chance.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: So what are your thoughts on Americas voting vs. the panel?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: America plays a large part in who makes it and who gets kicked off, but I wish America could have seen how hard I was working and the drive to succeed I had while I was on the show. I was doing everything I could like practicing in the mirror and so on.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Last week Aryn told me she felt this was more a popularity contest at times, do you feel the same way and if so were there people in the house who took advantage of this when cameras were around?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I feel the same way, sometime it is a popularity contest but America should also look at the models drive to succeed.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Lets talk about some of your cast mates. What’s up with Ronnie and Ben?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: They are real close and like brothers having fun. Everyone in the house knew Ronnie was gay and he was having fun flirting with Ben and Ben is just having fun with it.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: In your confessional you said you would not make out with anyone in the house since you’re not attracted to any of them, who do you think America would vote to make out with if they had a chance to vote for one female?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I don’t know for sure, I suppose Holly or Katie.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: If you were asked to pick a partner for a photo shoot who would you pick and why?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: Jackie, when we practiced taking photos Jackie and I had great chemistry. I also worked well with Holly.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: Let’s have some fun. If you were asked to text one vote to keep someone off the bottom three who would it be?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: I would vote for Frankie. Frankie is a really cool guy, we met at the casting call so I knew what type of dude he was before we got into the house. He is not a cocky guy, he comes off as such but he is very humble inside.

Q. Mark, RealityWanted.com: We appreciate you taking the time out of your day to chat. Do you want to share your Myspace page with fans?

A. Jay, Make Me A Supermodel: Sure its myspace.com/chitown67
