Emmy-winning producer is looking to hear from affluent East Indian Americans in the Los Angeles area for an unscripted project in development with a talent agency. We're looking for men and women who are successfully (or unsuccessfully) balancing the demands of East Indian AND American culture. For example: a female engineer who also has to find time to adhere to cultural demands and be a proper wife and mother; or a male who is in love with someone from a lower caste or a different ethnicity. We're committed to handling this project with integrity and responsibility, and genuinely want to document real stories of real people... and hopefully educate and entertain audiences.
If you're interested, please email the following information:
Name, age, contact info (including phone and email), location and social media accounts
A clear, full-body picture (nothing x-rated, please)
Family background (do you live in a multi-generational household?)
Socioeconomic Information -- Are you wealthy? Affluent? Struggling? How does being East Indian affect your view of the American/Western culture of excess?
Overall experience as an East Indian American -- positive/negative, the good/bad/ugly
What about East Indian Americans (and Indian culture) do you want people to know?
